Help Stuart Armstrong Get BBC Goal Of The FA Cup 4th Round

No one can argue that Stuart Armstrong's swerving strike on Saturday against Coventry City was one of the most spectacular goals seen at St Mary's Stadium in it's 21 years of existence, now Saints fans need to get voting and make sure that it is acknowledged as the Goal Of The Round on the BBC.

With the advent of social media many great goals don't get acknowledged as such due to the voting power of the armchair fans of the big clubs.

If you play for one of the clubs outside of the big boys, It doesn't matter if you have just run from your own penalty area, dribbled past the entire opposition team twice and then scored from somewhere near the corner flag, you are still going to be behind a Harry Kane or Mo Salah tap in for the goal of the month.

That is because the likes of Spurs and Liverpool fans many of whom have never seen either player in the flesh, will vote for anything that their club is up for, whether it is the best pie, cleanest toilets or as in this case the best goal of the 4th round of the FA Cup.

So if we are to get our man his just reward for what was a goal even Matthew Le Tissier, Rickie Lambert or our current long distance goal specialist James Ward Prowse would have been proud of.

The nominees are as follows

Stuart Armstrong - SOUTHAMPTON v Coventry
Cesar Azpilicueta - CHELSEA v Plymouth
Harry Kane - TOTTENHAM v Brighton
Harvey Elliott - LIVERPOOL v Cardiff
Declan Rice - Kidderminster v WEST HAM
Michael Olise - CRYSTAL PALACE v Hartlepool

All you have to do is click on Stuart Armstrong and then click the vote now box.

Currently our man is leading with 42% of the vote, but Harvey Elliot of Liverpool is creeping up fast on 33% so we need to make sure the late surge comes from the South Coast.

If we are to win it we need everyone voting so share this story with all your Saints supporting mates and for that matter anyone you know and get them to vote for Stu's Super Strike using the link below,
