Who Are Dijon FCO !

Saint head down to France to play Dijon FCO but if you are going be aware the game is not in Dijon itself but a fair distance South. Here is the rundown on the French side

Saints will be taking on Dijon not in their home stadium but at Complexe Sportif De Divonne which is on the French side of the border with Switzerland and not far from Saints current training base in Evian.

Dijon Football Côte d'Or or Dijon FCO as they are more commonly known play in France's top division, although they have a short history season, being founded in 1998 after a merger between two clubs, 2017/18 was only their third ever in the top flight, the first in 2011/12 saw them relegated and they returned in 2016 and finished 16th and then 11th last season for their best ever league position in their history.

However it was not all a bed of roses and the 8-0 reverse they suffered against Paris Saint Germain was their biggest ever defeat.

In English terms they could be compared to Bournemouth and their biggest transfer fee paid is only 2 million Euros so that is testimony of how they have built the club up over the past two decades .

Manager Olivier Dall'Oglio has been in place since 2012 following their relegation from the top flight and has slowly built up a steady if unknown squad.
