More reports of players coming in and out of St Mary's this summer in the British press have emerged in the last 24 hours, Lets take a look at the latest names linked to the club.
Southampton have been linked with a move for Napoli midfielder Allan but they could face a battle for his signature.
Allan joined Napoli from Udinese in the summer of 2015 and has managed 72 Serie A appearances and four goals for the Italian outfit.
Reports have now claimed Saints are plotting a move for the 26-year-old Brazilian but they will face competition from Premier League rivals for his services.
West Brom have been credited with an interest in the player, with Stoke and newly promoted Newcastle United are also thought to be keen.
The club have also expressed an interest in signing Inter Milan forward Gabriel Barbosa.
According to Dean Jones of Bleacher Report, Saints are among a host of clubs in the top flight interested in helping him to revitalise himself at the top level.
Barbosa netted 24 goals during his time at Santos, where he made 83 appearances. He also contributed with a respectable tally of 12 assists.
A foray of clubs have joined Saints in expressing an interest in the Brazilian with Tottenham, Stoke, Leicester, Everton, Swansea, and Liverpool all holding an interest in him.
Now onto those reportedly heading for the exit door.
Sky Sports News is claiming that Chelsea are keeping tabs on both our first choice full backs Cedric Soares and Ryan Bertrand, after missing out on both Danilo and Benjamin Mendy to Manchester City.
And last but by no means least The Saga involving our so called player captain Virgil Van Dijk rumbles on, with Sky Sources claiming Van Dijk believes he will be a Liverpool player by the end of this transfer window.
However interest in him from both Chelsea and Manchester City continues to bubble beneath the surface.
