Saints Linked With Central Defender
With the transfer window only two months from opening the press are limbering up and linking players with clubs, Saints are rumoured to be heading to Belgium with the cheque book.
The man that Saints are being reported to be lining up a bid for is Genk's Omar Colley a 6ft 3 inch central defender who is also captain of his country Gambia.
Colley only joined Genk in the summer for 2 million euros from Swedish club Djurgårdens IF but has impressed in his appearances in the Belgium League so far this season.
He is fairly versatile and able to play in either the centre of defence or as a left back, although Saints are well served on the left of defence they are short of cover for VVW & Jose Fonte with only Yoshida as back up and he is not the answer.
Whether Colley will be the man is yet to be decided but hopefully Saints will be looking to strengthen in what is a weak area in the squad.
