Hendo brace secures Dale win
Dale picked up their second away win of the season, after two late goals from Ian Henderson secured the points in a game that had 0-0 written all over it.
It was a much changed Dale team, with returns to first team action for Castro Pereira, Henderson, Lancashire, McDermott and Kennedy.
The game offered little in the way of chances, with the cold affecting everyone on and off the pitch, and when it got to half time it looked like we were pleased to go in with a share of the spoils after a late Castro save kept us in it.
Second half was a different matter altogether and our confidence grew as the game went on, and whilst a superb McNulty block kept out what looked a certain Doncaster goal, the home fans were getting frustrated as the game drifted away from them.
But with time ticking away, we saw a repeat of why we took Henderson to our hearts like we did as he curled into the top right corner.
And deep into injury time, we secured the win. A wonderful McDermott run saw him round the keeper, but perhaps run a little wide. It brought laughter from the home supporters before he calmly slotted it over to Henderson for a tap in.
