HALL RIGHT NOW: The 100 questions Portpin need to answer... Part 5

Since Portpin's arrival on the Pompey scene, the longer they hang around, the more questions there are. Here's the latest batch Portpin fail to answer, despite being given every opportunity to do so.

After Portpin's decision to appoint Tavistock Communications as their PR company, we at least have someone to ask the questions of. I have so far collected in excess of 100 questions suggested by inquisitive Pompey fans. If there's a question you want us to ask, please send it hallrightnow@pompey-fans.com and we'll try to ask it. I have now sent four batches totalling 54 questions to Tavistock and I publish their 'reponses' below.

The answers so far remain none too illuminating of course. However, I will continue to ask the questions and publish the reponse at approximately ten at a time.

Click here to read questions 1-13 and here to read questions 14-23 and here to read 24-33 and here to read 34-44 sent to Portpin and their responses.

45. Sources have told me categorically that the payment mechanism was that all proposed payments by Portsmouth FC between October 6th 2009 and February 10th 2010 were gathered together by Tanya Robbins, submitted to Daniel Azougy who emailed them to Portpin and Falcondrone directors for approval before Mark Jacob sent them to the payments department at Fuglers. Do they deny this? Portpin declined to comment.

46. If Portpin did not know of Mr Azougy's role between October 6th 2009 and February 10th 2010 please explain why they authorised Mr Jacob to draw up a contract of employment for him, offering remuneration at £78k per month? Portpin declined to comment.

47. If Portpin did not know of Mr Azougy's role between October 6th 2009 and February 10th 2010 please explain why they authorised Mr Jacob to draw up a contract of employment for him but refused permission for him to sign it on behalf of Portsmouth FC? Portpin declined to comment.

48. During October 2009 Mr Azougy and Mr Storrie almost came to blows in the office at Fratton Park over an argument relating to Mr Storrie's inability to access any financial information and  had to be separated by colleagues. Our sources are adamant that Portpin were made aware of this incident. What recollection do they have of this? Portpin declined to comment.

49. Portsmouth Football Cub were fined over £1m by the Premier League for persistent rule breaches relating to Mr Azougy's employment. Do Portpin feel a moral obligation to repay this money to Portsmouth FC given their overarching control of the business during this period? Portpin declined to comment.

50. On transfer deadline day August 2010, despite not having completed their deal to take control, eye witnesses have since stated that Mr Kushnir was present within the offices at Fratton Park conducting all transfer business Is this true? Portpin declined to comment.

51. On August 16th 2010 Balram Chainrai told The News; ‘I definitely want to get back to the Premier League – and if I go in it will be with money to invest in the club. ‘I am not going to stay in the Championship." Given that we subsequently failed to spend a penny and in fact sold a number of players during the following transfer window, why did Mr Chainrai break this promise? Portpin declined to comment.

52. Given that Mr Chainrai has just made a similar promise to Matt Slater of the BBC but then denied even having the conversation why should anyone believe him? Portpin declined to comment.

53. If Mr Chainrai wishes to invest in Pompey to get us back to the Premier League, why is this nowhere mentioned in his bid? Portpin declined to comment.

54. On May 18th 2012 Mr Chainrai told The Guardian "I stepped in and lent money to the football club when no bank would lend them £1. So why am I the victim here? Why am I the culprit? Why am I being blamed? What have I done wrong?" Given that Mr Chainrai accepts that his loan was incredibly high risk and that no one else would make such a loan, why does he persist in trying to recover it from a business that subsequently went bankrupt twice? Portpin declined to comment.

I have sent the next batch of ten questions to Tavistock and hopefully I will be able to bring you some answers to those on Sunday. Click here to read why PFC owe Portpin absolutely nothing...
