Sodje: We will beat Rochdale!
Veteran Bury defender Efe Sodje has started talking like a Heavyweight Boxing contender by declaring that his Shakers side will beat Rochdale at Gigg Lane this weekend.
In an astonishing interview which has the potential to blow up in his face, Sodje came out all fighting following Bury's 4-0 hammering at Sheffield United at the weekend insisting that Dale will face the full backlash from Richie Barker's side.
Despite going into the game on the back of four successive defeats, Sodje declared bullishly: "It's going to be a big test on Saturday, but as I always say we're going to win it. I just want it to be a good game, it's not going to be nervy and we will win, simple as that."
Since the sale of Lowe and Mozika, the current Bury squad have a total of just three goals to their name.
