Saints Pompey And Arsenal Fans Unite To Bushwack Harry Redknapp Wednesday, 14th Nov 2018 15:04 They say there is only two things that unite Saints and Pompey fans and that is a love of Alan Ball and a hatred of Harry Redknapp and they are now being joined by Arsenal fans to ensure that "Arry" suffers in the jungle. Given that he owns a property in Sandbanks one of the most expensive and exclusive area to live in the UK, not to mention a fortune amassed from over half a century in football it is somewhat surprising that at 71 Harry Redknapp should be so desperate to lay his hands on his reported fee of £500,000 for appearing on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, he surely cannot be short of the money. The fact that he is willing to undergo possibly several weeks of discomfort in the jungle to get his grubby paws on what is surely a pittance to him, perhaps says a lot about his priorities in life and as a man. Perhaps it is his dog that mistakenly entered him for the series whilst checking his online bank account, because Harry as always is totally unaware of the situation and what it entails. Certainly there aren't many Saints fans who are fans of his after his pitiful attempts as manager at St Mary's that ended in relegation and Pompey fans are not far behind after he lied to them about never "going up the road" and although he won them the FA Cup they never had the same feeling for him again after the events of December 2004. Arsenal fans aren't that keen either after his term at their big rivals Tottenham Hotspur and indeed most of the club's he has managed have seen him leave under a cloud. Plenty of other club's fans are already willing to join in the fun and games and ensure that he is voted to do every "Bushtucker Trial" Saints official twitter feed kicked off the fun when it said in reply to the i'm a celebrity official twitter feed. "Careful that Harry doesn't leave you halfway through to join @bbcstrictly" So Saints have led the way and Arsenal fans were quick to throw their weight behind a campaign to make sure that he has a torrid time in the Jungle, Pompey fans are a little split about Redknapp but there will be a sizeable enlistment from them and even Arry's beloved Ammers are sure to get in on the act, he is still seen as the man who stabbed Billy Bonds in the back to get the job and his final years at Upton Park were fraught. Queens Park Rangers were relegated at the end of his first season there and although he got them back up, he soon was making the excuses as they were relegated for the 2nd time in 3 seasons and left in the February with them second to last in the Premier League. So it will be an interesting few weeks for Arry in the Jungle, although for one due to the heat he will literally be down to the bare bones !
