Really not sure about Ashby. He plays like his legs are too long for him or doesn't know what they are doing and most of the time he does the opposite thing to what he should. The amount of times when he played left back he would cut in and then dribble across the pitch, only to lose it and then be out of position. Passes it when he should hold on and keeps it when the simple pass is on. I know very inexperienced and maybe will offer more and be more comfortable on the right side. If he does play right back I'm glad Cook is on that side and will hopefully talk him through the game |

Who did Marti say what helping with set pieces more? |
| Forum Reply | Morrison, anyone notice? at 19:30 30 Nov 2024
I think he has helped us whilst JCS had been out and his calmness and distribution is very good. I think he is going to be the long term replacement for Cook and actually wouldn't mind seeing him play with JCS. At the same time his transition into the first team might have been easier with having Cook alongside him. Would be interesting to see the three of them together in a back 3 |

I am pleased we showed intent today. No sitting back. Tried to play football when the opportunity was there but dug in too. Varane just getting better and better. Celar still slightly on his heels in build up play but he comes alive near and in the box. [Post edited 30 Nov 14:40]

I'm not sure about Anderson and Madsen in the same team. We lack pace at the best of times and with those two, it would be even worse. Personally I would have Saito and Smyth starting or worse case have Ashby playing wide right just because he has a bit of pace. He would also be able to help Dunne, who has looked a bit shaky recently |

I think Dunne's form have dropped off a bit recently. With the injuries at the moment once JCS is fit I would be interested to see a back 3 of Cook, Morrison and JCS, maybe wing backs of Paal and Ashby, Varane and one other in midfield with a front 3 that has to include Saito and then whoever is available |

So do we think Marti will drop Celar as the fans are/have turned against him and his performances are not up to it (at the moment) or will he continue with him to try and give him sort of confidence? I like Lloyds energy but not sure he can last the 90 minutes like that and would he better coming on as a sub? If that is the case, who do we start with. I wouldn't mind seeing Kolli there. I know he seems to be a player who gets better by not playing in terms of people's perception of him but at least he will be a presence up front, can hold the ball up and give the defenders something to think about, or is there another option? |

Looks comfortable on the ball too. A good option whilst JCS is out. The only scary thing is the lack of pace but I guess if you read the game well, shouldn't be as much as an issue. He looks like the natural replacement for Cook or JCS |

So I guess staying in the North of England and or Scotland because his family was settled in Glasgow has gone out the window |

Not being tedious at all. Just pointing out that it is a world of opinions and everyone is allowed to have them, it's just that you decide to view yours by being an a$$ about it. But hey whenever someone point a something out to you like that its them who have the issue despite tkh being the common denomentaor. The irony that you are telling me not to be so inhospitable to opinions but you are the one who's choice of words will have people pulling you up on your tone etc. If you want to be be intellectually read have something intellectual to say rather than insults with a few more syllables |

In your opinion. Which you are entitled to as are others. Love how in another post I think you called people idiots for not understanding what you actually mean when you writr and now exasperated when someone's view does agree with your own |

It seems that the specifics are missing. We don't know exactly when the tram travelled up, when players felt their injuries etc but despite this so many people prefer to start a potential conspiracy behind the scenes. According to some, our players are going down with the slightest knock and Martí is making a point. Everyone is entitled to their opinions of course, thats what makes forums so good but when people start dealing in absolutes when they don't really know what is going on says more about them that what is actually going on. The fact is, none of us actually know |

Just out of curiosity where do you get that conclusion from, reading that article? |

Maybe Martí is going to be slightly pragmatic again and build from there. Get some results and confidence and then try to expand from there. |

We have missed Chair and his creative spark but now when he plays like that. Saito overlapped a number of times but he refused the easy pass that would progress the play. Instead, cut inside, feint, go on the outside, cut back in. Over/under hit cross or shot. I just wish that Chair would realise that the ball can cover the ground much quicker than him so pass it more. What I liked about Saito is that be beats his man and then knows that he has now created space as the next player comes to engage him and that is the time to pass it to someone, because they will be free |
| Forum Reply | Celar - Nothing Again at 22:44 22 Oct 2024
At the moment Celar just hasn't got anything going for him. Yes there are times where he is at fault but then there are also some nice touches and movement but teammates just didn't see it. At the moment he is struggling and due to earlier efforts the perception is he is a dud, and that clouds the moments where he does well but it doesn't come off. He isn't physical like Frey as I think he is more the striker off a target man |
| Forum Thread | WiFi Router tech question at 20:32 10 Oct 2024
Hi all I know there are a few tech minded people out there, so hoping someone can help. My router has the 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands synchronised. However I am trying to set up a TP Link camera that only connects via 2.4ghz. I am thinking about unticking the box to synchronise the bandwidths so that the camera and connect to the 2.4 and then I'll set up laptops and phones etc to the 5ghz. I was wondering if I would notice a change in performance? I also run my IPTV through an Amazon Firestick and whilst this would be connected to the 5ghz channel I don't want to unsynchronise them if that will make the IPTV lag Thanks |
