good morning Dr, on the face of it and puerly for the financial side think you are not far off the mark, BUT putting that aside do Swansea city fc want to climb the table attract better players bring back the crowds and have an amition to get to the top or not? whilst i think we can all agree the previous owners and latterly remarks by our manager have certanly not helped the situation, Mr Darling is one of if not the key to a succcesful team, its only my opinion of course but the club should go the extra mile to keep him, make him team captain if still here Mr Grimes could still be club captain, show us joe public the club wants to be up there competing at the top and want to be succesful not letting possibly our best player walk away for nothing or getting less than a million for him, do we know the players thoughts on the matter? if the money was right in his eyes would he want to stay? you and every other supporter wants whats best for the Swans we do not know the behind scene goings on but again only my opinion if the new owners show they want to take the club upwards the above would show a start, otherwise we will have exchanged 1 set of american owners with NO intrest in the swans for another set of some or simular ambition |

whilst agreeing with you to a point we are desperate for reinforcements to "spread the load"for me the way to get fans back on board is to show ambition, get Mr Darling tied down and for me make him team captain Grimes could still be club captain show the public mr chairman we have a project to go forwards and upwards, not let one of our best defenders go for nothing to a club like brum, or leeds among others, let Tjoe a on go , for me a terrible buy if we do not show ambition there is no doubt in my humble opinion Joe public will continue to walk and stay away thats not good for anyone, we unfortunatly must stop shopping in aldy but pay a bit more in marks and spencer so the public can see the club are trying to improve and players want to be a part of it it takes money unfortunatly and the new owners must realise this or we will have swapped 1 set of usa owners for another of simular ambition |

As i said this window could be our most important now after the manager fiasco i hope thats been put to bed and the board brings in what they have apprently promised,we need cover all over the field, but this weekends game shows how thin our squad really is, and not by rushing to bring in just anyone either, we supposidly have been planning and in touch with other clubs/ players so lets get some positivity moving again and quickly |

you are correct,no winners here, the best thing now is for the club as an article on this site states either back him or end his job, but this situation has not helped anyone exept W B A who will benifit from this turmoil cant see us winning this game of course hope im wrong, the Chairman should have made some sort of statment even if just to show he was/is on top of it, nothing just creates more problems |

Whilst agreeing with you but what ever happens the new board should be showing the players staff and supporters they have it under control the days of blaming kaplan and levine have gone, do they the new board want to be just a carry on of the old get people on board and stop the speculation one way or another |

We always around tranfer windows are involved in something or other but this MUST besorted as quickly as possible to show fans players the new board are on top of things and give all confidance |
| Forum Reply | Swansea City : Does Luke know what he is doing to our club ? at 15:09 2 Jan 2025
Onehunglow, no you are correct i do not have any info on coaches availability, and for me he would have been the guy for us but he has gone to stoke, but untill the situation one way or another is sorted we are where we are sorry to say, and it always puts us in a bad light, the chairman should TODAY be saying he sticks or twists but think they could be waiting for wba to trigger release clause, if indeed they are interested in him (williams) , but agree our managers has not handled the situation at all well , but the game on saturday is important to both teams and WE freally need a positive result at home after what can only be described as a shambles on new years day A happy and healthy one to you by the way |

whilst agreeing with you the manager to be fair can only play who is available and as has been said lets see what the new regime does, this current squad without doubt are a mid table squad that is down to former people who were not prepared to spend, if the current mob are simular this is where we will be got fingers crossed they will bring in people who will improve the squad time will tell AND a happy and healthy new year to all Swansea supporters players and staff |
