It that was against the Swans I'd be livid. Both feet in the air, Kane got to the ball first and kicked the Dutch lad on his follow through. Never a pen in a million years! That's the beauty of football though, an opinion from every angle.
It's always a difficult one to answer. There are many 16 year old who I would trust with the vote far more than some adults but there are also many who are not mature enough. However, if we still accept 16 year olds to sign up for the Army then we must also give them the right to vote. If they are old enough to fight and die for their country, then they are old enough to decide who is going to send them. As a society, we can't have it both ways.
Eh? I thought it was quite clear. Could you add clarification to the part of your post that I highlighted. I didn't understand the point you were trying to make. Cheers.
It’s all fun in the old people's dementia nursing home where Mavis is walking around the corridors with her zimmer frame which she thinks is a car. She goes around one corner where an old boy stops her. ‘Excuse me love’ he says ‘have a you got a driving license for that?’ She pulls out an old bingo card and shows it to him. ‘No worries love’ he says ‘on you go’. She turns another corner and another old boy stops her. ‘Can you show me a valid tax disc please?’ She finds an old bus ticket in her pocket and hands it to him. ‘Sound’ he says ‘ have a good day’. She walks around the third corner to see the bad old boy of the nursing home stood there grinning with his trousers around his ankles. ‘Oh Christ’ cries Mavis ‘not the bloody breathalyser again!’
Why not just respond and leave the personal abuse alone? Your argument should be enough for others to decide if it's pitiful drivel or not. You would be the first to moan if others said that about you. The biggest hypocrites complain about people being hypocritical.
Where do we start? I'm not a fan of Drakeford but do you genuinely believe that he is responsible for this? Another example of the UK privatising the profits and socialising the losses or costs. I understand you will go to any length to defend the Tories and neoliberalism in general but come on.
The covid bill wasn't just about furlough though was it? £32 billion on a failed test and trace system as well as god knows how much spent on corrupt PPE contracts. Even before Covid the national debt was horrific and getting worse.
Also, this budget is not just about the Covid bill or even the 'global pressures' that every Govt minister keeps trying to bang on about. Nobody was talking big tax rises or huge spending cuts 2 months ago. This budget is attempting to repair the damage done by the disastrous previous budget which crashed the economy. Every economic measure shows the UK at the bottom of the list with ordinary people paying the price for a failed ideology.
