I brought some friends from France for the home game against Bristol City. Even though it was a 0-0 they all loved it and now all support/follow the Rs, to the point that they want to create an official supporters club here in Montpellier. Result!
One had been to Arsenal before and said he much preferred LR, a proper english ground like he imagined it should be
OK thanks for checking. I'll check if some money is taken, but when I click on the interview link I still get Oops! Your pledge was declined. This post is unavailable because your pledge payment for Clive Whittingham didn’t go through.
Actually Clive, each time I try I get to enter my card details, authorise it in my bank's app, and then get Oops! Your pledge was declined. It's a valid visa card, it is set as payment method, yet doesn't work. Could it be because I'm in France? Do you have someone's mail I could write to?
About the marks, you forgot Illy. I thought he'd be on 6, perhaps up to 7 because of that effort? It definitely would have I guess, had it not been saved
I've recently finished Pierre Lemaitre's trilogy of the between war novels and haven't quite recovered yet about how fantastic they were. Each one better than the previous and can't recommend it highly enough. An English friend read the English translations and told me it was really well translated too
The books in order are: The Great Swindle All Human Wisdom Mirror of our Sorrows
I have a salt water pool and it is much nicer than chlorine pools. It's 4kg salt per cubic meter of water so you don't feel it is salted. It feels very slightly salted to the taste. It doesn't sting the eyes as chlorine does and feels pretty much like clear water.
It works by electrolysis, so the salt gets converted to very volatile chlorine so there is no chlorine in the pool as the sterilising happens in the electrolysis chamber, but that means the filtering/electrolysis must be on a long more time than chlorinated water, about half in hours that of the temperature, eg 15hours if the water is at 30 degrees. It tends to be difficult to prevent it turning when it goes above 31,32 degrees.
It is overall the main way new pools are built around here.
One of the greatest albums ever from a great band, each song is a gem. The soundtrack to my late teens and one of the best gigs I saw, Town & Country club in 1987 (I think)
