Eustace did play for Derby towards the end of his playing career
still, swapping promotion chasing Blackburn for relegation haunted Derby would be a strange career move. DC have no more money than BR. If he does retain a property in Derby, it makes sense, from a family POV. |

Decent comparison.
Walker, on loan with us, was so obviously head and shoulders above any other RB in the league. So no surprise for his subsequent achievements. Edwards could easily go the same way. |

Bowles for me.
Marsh was great at 2nd and 3rd tier levels. Didn't really sparkle at top level.
Taarabt was outstanding for a little period. He needed work horses to cover for his lack of any defensive abilities. Burned bright and burned out all too soon.
Not only did we praise Stan for his ability to best a man and his goals, but its overlooked how hard he worked for the good of the team. A team that narrowly missed out on a League title. |

We've tended to recruit youngsters, both in the Summer and January. We need to retain/recruit some experience to balance the team.
For that reason, I'd want to keep Cook, provided its a 1 year deal(+ 1 Yr option?) on reduced wages,i.e. more in line with our average. The rest, other than Dunne, can go. [Post edited 5 Feb 17:58]

As expected Blackburn came back into it 2nd half, but Rangers did more than enough. If we'd been 2 up at HT it would have been a lot more comfortable.
Edwards looks classy, Chair back to form, Frey led the line well. Add in Saito and Smyth out wide and we offer many threats .
13th and only 3 off the playoff places, albeit having played an extra game and a crappy GD. |

We've been excellent. Edwards, Chair, Saito, Paal, Frey in particular. The only worry is that it is ONLY 1-0, when 2 or 3 would be a better refelction.
Expect BRFC to come at us more than they could in 1st half. |
