Given our current position, it's hard to see us going down nor reaching the playoffs. Although, neither are impossible. So, shouldnt the club be assessing next season's squad and ensuring we keep those we want/need to keep. To me that means Dunne, Chair and Frey. Morgan getting an updated contract. Possibly, offer Cook a 1 year deal. I don't see any need to repeat last Summer's European trolley dash. A few carefully selected, both stats and attitude, additions could trigger a steady improvement. Also, need to look at those we should release, e.g. Andersen, Santos and Colback. Probably EDB as well. |

Generally, QPR+ is the best option for those not able to go in person. Sadly, if its shown on Sky then it isnt available in every country. I believe that excludes western Europe and north America. I agree the TV audience for QPR vs Luton will be close to ZERO. |

FWIW Plymouth look dead already. Cardiff have been poor since the start. So, those 2 + 1 from Portsmouth, Hull, Stoke or Oxford. Millwall could also be in trouble. Derby, IMO, will probably be OK as their defence is normally sound. |

I knew. I was there. Albiston, their RB, got booked after 90 seconds. For his end foul on Dave Thomas. Game was played on a mud bath, interspersed with a beach. Bowles scored a header at Loft End, just in front of me. |

I believe Andersen and Colback will be released this Summer. Celar, allegedly, has been offered to Werder Bremen. They are unsure as he's still injured. Loans for Walsh, EDB and Santos would be a sound move. |

Done and dusted. Ronnie Edward's signed on loan until end of season. Not available for Watford, though. [Post edited 1 Jan 10:21]

| Forum Reply | Promotion to the Premier League is tough. But is survival effectively impossible? at 07:47 31 Dec 2024
AFAIK 2023/24 - the 3 promoted clubs came straight down 2 of the relegated clubs went back up. 2024/25 The 3 promoted clubs are, currently, 18th, 19th and 20th 2 of the relegated clubs are top 3 and 4 points clear of 4th place. For most Championship clubs, including us, it's like bringing a knife (plastic) to a gunfight. That's not to say promotion is unattainable, but it does require clubs to be well run, and lucky(?), for several years. [Post edited 31 Dec 2024 7:59]

Fine but what about Kolli to AM on left, with Frey to start. Alternative could be EDB. Preferable to Madsen? |

I think Marti had to replace Field. On a yellow, committed 2 fouls. Add Morgan fading, after a tremendous 1st half, no wonder we lost the midfield. One has to question EDB keeping bench warm, while Madsen fancies about. Ref wasn't bad but inconsistent in the last 20. |
