Sky Games
at 22:47 3 Jul 2024

This is an absolute disgrace, Noury and all championship ceo’s should hang their heads in shame.
Basically means I cannot attend games anymore as both my boys play football on a Saturday morning. Why should we be asking children to make a choice between watching and playing football.
What a waste of money on season tickets again the supporters that turn up week in and week out are the ones being shafted.
I am disgusted in the club and this looks to be the end for me after 50 years.
I shall be writing to Noury to let him know, this has happened on his watch even though he will say he wasn’t in situ I am not having that.

Digital ticketing
at 23:01 22 Jul 2021

I have a ticket for my two Children to share, however it is in my eldest’s name and was emailed to him.

I have managed to put it in his wallet and send it to my phone by just forwarding the email so also have it in my wallet for when I take my 7 year old.

I can’t see any reason why you can’t have it on two separate phones (I.e share with someone) as i would imagine the gate will recognise if that ticket has been used for a game preventing two people from entering.

Also appeared on my watch so can use that to get in as well.

Might be wrong but the sharing of a ticket looks simple

How willing are you to part with your cash?
at 09:27 13 Mar 2020

I have been thinking the same.

This is a time for people to be pragmatic and I would be happy as long as I was allowed to watch the games on the internet, that would be fair.

Someone asked me how I would feel if I lost money on my family holiday in the summer. Pure and simple the money has been spend, I am not losing the money I am losing a holiday. Same for football, I am not losing the money I am losing an afternoon with my mates and watching a football game.

We call ourselves supporters well lets support the club instead of moaning. Our owners will have huge issues in their businesses to deal with (airline and Steel!) and therefore we can all live with not having a few quid that we would have spent anyway.

"I love this site for comedy value" LOVE IT! what is the point of being all doom and gloom at the start of a season. If you go In to a match thinking you will lose then the probabiliy is, you will.

I agree we may well want Warburton out in a months time (I think he has a bit longer than that personally) but at least that will be born from a poor set of results and a little more justified.

At this point we don't know, I am not saying that we are going to be any good but at the same time we can't say for sure we will be bad. Likelihood is we will be the latter but I will be eating my hat with Warburton, Ferdinand and alike.

Lets at least go in to the first few games thinking we can win a game.

Lets be Positive
at 10:16 28 Jul 2019

I have read a number of negative threads intwined with a few positive ones, but it is fair to say the doom and gloom has already set in before we have kicked a ball for some.

I for one are happy with the transfer activity even though this has been the biggest out and in I can remember. People seem to forget we finished 19th last season and despite the positives pre Christmas it was utter dross in the second half of the year.

I agree we have a lost a couple of useful players, Freeman was our best player so sad to see him go but we got a ok fee for him and wished him luck in the premiership, I think we will be seeing him again next season nonetheless. Matt Smith was popular and affective but for all the reasons that have been articulated on this site (i.e. he wanted to go, last year of contract and we got a fee) it was the right thing to let him go. I have to admit I am not to bothered about the rest, I think Kane will be better than furlong and Wallace will be better than bidwell. Our centre backs were a shower of S**te so the fact we are changing them and bombing out BFG is no worries.

Midfield for me was always lightweight but looked better when Cameron was in the side, he was like a Rolls Royce, classy but broke down a lot. Scowan improved as pushed up the pitch but he can still be called on and Luongo for me is over rated. Clearly we will miss Freeman but hopefully some of the youngsters will step up.

I note we have lost lots of other players such as Pav but again we have replaced well and still have all the youth to call upon as well.

The keeper situation will be hard to understand unless someone explains it but you kind of have to give them the benefit of the doubt here. I think Lumley started very brightly but got sucked in to the vacuum of poor performances so I am not unhappy we have brought someone else in.

So, had we just kept the same team and added a couple of forwards and maybe a defender I think we would have ended up in 19th again or maybe worse, that's an opinion and I appreciate that bright, eze and chair would have all improved but I think some of the other players would have gone the other way.

Concerns around transfer policies are valid, Clive questioned this in one of this reports around managers bringing in their own players and then being sacked in 6 months time, I wholly agree with this and a different longer term strategy is needed.

But they have rolled the dice, if they hadn't we would have been on for another poor season, now the excitement is there as we don't know how the team will perform. We could be a surprise package and finish 18h :-) or we could be the worst team in the league and go down, we will have to be patient though.

Lets be positive

Get well soon butch, lets hope you pull through.

Ray ray super ray - I remember a holiday in Gran Canaria early 90's and 20 mates sitting on a bus (only 4 were QPR) belting this out, the whole coach looked very bemused but by the end of it were joining in. Became an anthem of the holiday (things you do in your youth!)

He was a legend at QPR and loved watching him stroke the ball around from the centre circle.

I have to admit, I have screamed at the radio a few times as he talks about how much he loves the scum. However, still have very fond memories of him and was saddened to read the news.

Boycotting Saturday
at 20:19 4 Nov 2015

Really! What a sad state of modern football

We are an embarrassment as a fan base, the atmosphere has been awful for years now because people's expectation have been set to high from reality.

I am not a Ramsey fan, he is a hopeless fool, but i am fan of QPR so let's start supporting them.

And before anyone asks, I am a season ticket holder and I have been going for 35 years.

What a load of tosh, here it every year as you say Clive, last year they were saying Hughes's sessions were a breath of fresh air as they got a ball on day one.

Let's hope at least they are running in the same direction at the start of the season.

Agree, I actually think he came across a decent enough bloke and seemed always in the thick of the banter so was clearly well liked by team mates.

Still think he could have done a job as the fourth striker (or DJ) that's of course if we don't bring in someone else.

Good luck to him

A dilemma, I have always disliked Cardiff and in recent years there has been a big rivalry between them and us.

However, I really want to see Helguson, Smith and Connally do well as I have respect for all three and they all did a good job for us.

Who am I kidding, I still want Cardiff to lose in 90th minute of the playoff final.

Akos to be offered a new deal?
at 08:34 18 May 2012

I agree that this appears to be an option that makes sense given that he is already one of our players but feel he is just there to make up the numbers.

Stick him in a dead ball situation and we all know his quality but I thought he has been out of his depth when he has played recently and offered little to influence the game.

Bottom end squad player maybe, first team starter defiantly not, I hope we have a number of players in front of him.

Be good if the Scots voted for independence

Perhaps they can stop reading the Scottish football results out on bbc as well, pointless!

Not sure as an independent country they would want the burden of the Scottish banks on their shoulders either.

My overriding feeling is one of sadness, sadness that they have sacked Neil and sadness that it didn't work out for him.

I am sure every fan at the club would have loved to have seen Neil keep us up and continue to build the club, it was the least he deserved.

However, I do understand why they have made the decision and I think we need to stick by Fernandes and the new manager when he arrives.

Good luck Neil and thank you for all you have done.

Hi, seen you posting on here a couple of times.

I am coming out to Perth at Christmas for a few weeks, staying with family in Subiaco. Managed to bag myself tickets for the ashes in the process, so looking forward to that.

Will they be showing the Watford and Coventry games on Fox? If so do you recommend any decent pubs to watch.

Last time I was out in Perth (Dec 07), I was driving behind a car with a massive QPR sticker in the back. It was either you or you are not alone!

Cheers
