I could be wrong but I donât think we have a game on Saturday because Tamworth are at Burton in the FACup on Sunday. I think Tamworth has been moved to Tuesday 17th Dec, which is our next home game, apart from Man U u9âs next Tuesday⌠|

Great result.
Poor coverage from DAZN - picture, sound interference and camerawork all sub standard. Not good for a PPV channel.
But, in a way it added to the old school ground out win.
Safe trip home for the Dale fans. |

Better from Dale in the last 15, three Dale chances, Mitchell saved onto the bar and longish range from McBride, I make it three shots on target. Still a bit slow in the build up. Gateshead more direct and as I type, hit the post and clearedâŚ.still 0-0 |

Itâs a perennial of a problem, Rochdale being the wettest large town in England. This weeks double whammy of cold then very wet is going to be problematic for all but Premier league pitches. Scotland has embraced plastic pitches, which given our weather would be sensible, but would preclude us being a league club again. The alternative would be to install a modern hybrid pitch with advanced drainage and under soil heating, cost would be ÂŁ1.5 - ÂŁ3m. Iâd suggest we are going to have to continue to put up with the occasional postponement. |
