The hysterical over reaction to a defeat
at 13:14 16 Mar 2014

You do realise, that the teams we realistically, with present form, need to get our points from are not clearly weaker overall then the two teams part of the relegation show that we have gotten 1 point from in the last 2 matches?

Your argument about 30 passes and another day is off as the second of our main problems lately have been inefficiency.

The only positive yesterday

The reason the last pass ended up at JDG was a deflection off a CP player. At 0 mins and 44 secs: http://www.footytube.com/video/swansea-city-crystal-palace-mar02-260010?ref=wv_n
So somewhat lucky. Kind of similar deflection that cost us against Liverpool.

The goal looked good, but watching it in slow, it was somewhat lucky. On the other hand we might have been robbed with the penalty.

What a great statement simultaneously displaying your own ignorance and pissing all over families affected by autism.

Bony's Message To Swans Fans?
at 09:55 10 Feb 2014

Even if the rumour stemming from someneone's mate who "had him" in a cab is true: Can players not become unhappy about a manger if the manager thought they were a good buy?
I have a hard time understanding your line of reasoning here.

Another thing, who actually wanted Bony then? Given Jenkins's statement that we would never again spend that kind of money on a single player how likely is it that it was a deal the board was completely happy about at the final price? Can one realistically expect being able to compete against the very best when unwilling to spend two-figured on players when playing in the PL?

Everything above 32GB will be wasted as the xbox cannot use more than that as usb flash. Besides that everything should work but note ther will likely be an effect of speed depending on which usb you choose.

If you don't fancy putting a hd in yourself you can go for a usb flash drive. Make sure you get one that has more than what the game needs itself as it is necessary with some extra for the box to configure the extra external storage. Which model exactly is the box ?

Tan v Jenkins

Regarding business: Who cares how many burgers Redman has been flipping or how many lotto coupons he has sold. This is about football. So: Who has to this day made most greenies in this business? Stuff like interest on loans that will never be paid off because someone will have to file for bankruptcy doesn't count.

So, which is it?
at 09:31 7 Feb 2014

Those two are not necessarily mutually exclusive. Of course it would have been better for the club if he had resigned himself. that is likely what they wanted him to do.

From the first description and quotes from HL it sounded like a scenario where at first Laudrup during the meeting, suprisingly and inconvenient for the board, accepts a setup with Monk in and his previous team out, only to later be given the boot, is not an impossible one.

Nice idea, it didn't work and the bill is 40% Wilf.

Are we doing so bad that ML needed a sack (last year compared to this year)
at 18:29 5 Feb 2014

Please provide a link for the quote on begging. What has been on Danish media is the claim that ML accepted having to have Monk become #2 but later in the day Jenkins didn't feel certain and gave him the sack.

Is Monk really officially new manager? Wouldn't he need dispensations as he hasnt got a pro license, does he even have the A license?

Reason why Laudrup was sacked.
at 21:57 4 Feb 2014

Original seems to be here: http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/26042067

Or better yet http://www.swanseacity.net/news/article/ml-leaves-1340293.aspx :D

"It is a decision we have taken reluctantly," Jenkins told the club's website.

"But it's a decision made in the best interests of Swansea City football club and our supporters."

"It is the first time in nearly 10 years that the club has parted with a manager in this way, but we had to remove the constant uncertainty surrounding the club and Michael's long-term future with us.

Laudrup's final interview as Swans boss

"I had a meeting with Michael today in a final attempt to support him and establish a way to improve the work of the backroom team to secure the results we need over the final 14 Premier League games.

"However, after thinking long and hard about the best way forward, I felt it was unlikely we would achieve a stable environment at the club to allow us to get back to basics and produce the performance levels that have served Swansea City so well over the last few years.

"Now we need to put that uncertainty behind us and move forward as a united football club on all fronts, while placing on record our gratitude to Michael for the work he has done over the last 18 months and wish him well for the future."

HOmework: Read this http://eplindex.com/15146/sacking-manager-improve-results-points-goals-analysis. and report back please. Completely nonsoubded gut feeling is better performance after sack. PArtly implied by sack => team has done poorly => likely tough opposition => likely weaker opposition on avg fro new setup
