Shocking defender, slightly better going forward. Rangel, Jazz and Tiendalli all better defensively. Spurs have wanted rid of him for ages. Fans think hes a joke. We've pursued him for some time. We must know something that no one else does. |

Martinez was absolutely right to bemoan the fact that a side with great technical ability and whose supposed philosophy is to play attractive football and dominate possession resorts to strong arm time, wasting, hoof it anywhere tactics. |

The reality is that it was a poor performance with posession coughed up time after time. No composure, no attempt to dominate the game against an Everton side who lacked quality.
The worrying features are our willingness to abandon any pretence at playing football and resort to aimless hoofball. Agreed that the point was very welcome but it was nothing but good fortune that secured it bearing in mind Lukaku's glaring miss in the last minute.
On a final negative note, Shelvey was the far more likely red card recipient out of him and Bony. Subbing Bony means that any chance of us retaining possession from a ball to the front line is lost. Poor strategy. |

Shocking defending for the equaliser- Taylor/Montero give Borini too much space and he slings in a hopeful cross from too deep an angle. Rangel has Ballotelli from outside the box and jogs alongside his run then inexplicably let's him get in front.
Good tackle from Fernandez - no foul let alone any sort of card. Shambles ensues.
Coughed up the ball then appalling lack of organisation leaves Taylor with Lovren - Tremmell spots the imbalance and is forced to try to retrieve the position but misses the challenge.

We are now approaching the point at which the Club's saviours cash in their chips and we complete the decline (which started when they awarded themselves large salaries and dividends) from a community club into a foreign owned investment.
No wonder they won't reduce the ticket prices. Nothing to do with competitiveness with other clubs. Everything to do with being an attractive product and maximizing their return from the sale of their shares. |

Empty words, self serving bullshit. There's absolutely no reason why Swans couldn't reduce ticket prices as would be consistent with the contention they are a community club. Our community is comparatively poor yet we charge high ticket prices. Our competitiveness as measured against other clubs would not be affected one jot by reducing prices by £20 per adult ticket.
We now need the Trust to come out publicly on behalf of its members and demand a reduction and to orchestrate a campaign . That's what Trust members want. That's the mandate. Why are they silent on the matter? |

I can't remember the last time we heard of any challenge to Club policy from the Trust. There have been no recent public declarations of the Trust's attempts to influence policy nor any statements from the Trust Director as to how he has been striving to fight the corner of its members. It's become all too cozy and comfortable. What is the Trust's policy on ticket prices anyway? |

What is the Trust's current policy on the following which emerge from the figures:
1. 15 clubs out of the 20 have cheaper days out than we do.
2. 8 clubs have cheaper season tickets than we do
3. Only 4 clubs have more expensive tickets in the cheapest category
Given that Swansea has as high an incidence of social deprivation as any Premier League club is it not time for the Trust to take a public stand and denounce the Club's current pricing structure as unjustifiable when measured by reference to the prosperity of community which it supposedly serves? |

Be interested to know whether and if so in what way the issue of the boards was raised with the Trust and what representations were made on our behalf before installation. It would also be helpful to know what the official Trust line is now following what seems to be unanimous disapproval of the idea and, irrespective of dimming and slowing down tweaks, a universal wish that the club abandon the scheme. |

3 central midfielders will be in the usual 5 man midfield. As such 6 squad members of sufficient quality and experience are required. At present we have Leon, Ki, Shelvey and Gylfi. JDG would have given us 5 leaving one to sign. Now we're chasing Cork and Stambouli. Where's the logic in that when their fees and wages will at best equal those of De Guzman?
Nonsense to suggest we can get away with 4 CMs and a couple of kids. |
