How many people can we realistically expect to attend this game?
Sunderland won't bring more than 50 fans surely, maybe a few die hards who live locally but they're not going to care about their academy team away at Rochdale on a Tuesday night in a tinpot trophy.
It's not really going to enthuse many Dale fans either. I've got better things to spend a tenner on.
I honestly can't see over 300 - 400 attending the game, if we're lucky.
Do season ticket holders get this for free or do they have to pay? |

Personally I think 1-0 win for Sheff U.
Minimal goal difference dropped on them, no points for Barnsley.

Got dragged along to the Accy game today (I know, I know why wasn't I at Dale? Sh1t fan etc, I'll get over it) and I can safely say if they manage to get promoted it will be straight back down for them again next season.
League 2 must be very poor this season, only 2 players really stood out, Mingoia (who seems to have been there a lifetime) and Josh Windass who is off to Rangers in summer anyway.
Morecambe were dire as always and the snow/hail/whatever it was didn't help.
What surprised me was the way the Stanley players behaved, it was very un-Coleman like. Billy Kee was constantly elbowed in the back and pushed over but there was no real reaction from the players. Maybe Coleman is a changed man, although I doubt it.
2 highlights for me:
1. Stanley's left back kicking the ball against his own face a la Chris Brass and setting up Morecambe for their 2nd.
2. Realising that the hatred of Kevin Ellison is worldwide....or at least Lancashirewide.
If they go up I'll be looking forward to 6 points and a good day out at their place, if we don't go up that is!

In the Dutch 2nd division, Sparta Rotterdam v NAC Breda.
Sherjill McDonald who scored a hat trick against us for Hereford a few years back was replaced by the one and only Roland Bergkamp!

We can still technically catch up with Sheffield United, considering they have a very similar goal difference to us.
If we beat MK and both Chesterfield & Sheffield United lose on Saturday, they could quite happily play out a 0-0 draw on the final day of the season to see them both into the playoffs.
Also if Chesterfield win & Sheffield United lose on Saturday we could be cheering on Chesterfield on the last day of the season (as well as ourselves)
Long shot scenarios I know but quite interesting! |

No positives from that sadly!

Can someone explain to me why people were being allowed to buy tickets for the away end when the match was all ticket and we'd sold out our allocation and were told no tickets would be on sale?
There were over 1000 empty seats in that stadium today, I'm sure we could've got at least another 100 of us in there if they'd organised it properly! |

Gonna keep it short & sweet because it's difficult to post on here from my phone.
Very strange game, some very silly mistakes cost us a point, we had a freekick on ythe edge of the Torquay box, passed it instead of whipping it in, it was a poor pass to Gray who had his back to goal, he got tackled & Torquay went straight up the other end and scored.
Sending off was strange, most of us thought the ref booked the wrong player for the first booking but we could be wrong, 2nd one was probably a yellow, he got turned and pulled him down.
For us, Porter, Vincenti & Raff had good games.
MOTM: Enoch Showumni (sp?) Absolutely ran the game for 80 minutes. |
