The rules on betting are clear and the reasoning obvious: people inside the game betting raises the possibility of fixing. That's why the punishment is what it is. The three months will have been suspended to take account of his non-involvement in games. But I don't have any sympathy for him. | | | |

Andros deserves any ban and I think he is lucky that it is a time period rather than actual games. Everyone involved in football should know the rules around betting and deserve everything they get.
However I do agree that the other instances you have described have been under punished and that the FA are fcukwits. |  |
