i reckon that will be the outcome, can't say I'd be surprised by that news

Hmmmmm. As I said in the match report, every time he's asked he gives it the old "up to the board, very tough next season, depends if they can afford it."
Did think when I heard they were sitting down to plan next season that it culd well be a parting of ways.

...... Stevie Cotterill's Blue&white army

If he was staying why not release a statement straight away?

Jamie said in the Fail he thought he would stay, so HR clearly doesn't even tell HIM everything!

Ah FcK this will mean Jamie was right, we'll never hear the last of it IMO!

Jesus I hope not. Not really the occasion I wanted to get a prediction right for the first time!

Yes think you're right there.

At least he would be committed and might force out some of the millionaire players!

Bye Bye Harry? on 16:41 - Apr 29 with 2672 viewsdaveB

some tough calls to be made and Redknapp has hardly sounded positive about next season the last few weeks, reckon Cotterill will take charge for the last 3 games and they'll look for a new man. no matter how good Redknapp is paying a manager 3million in the Championship is not really sensible

Not a great deal of talent out there though for a job of this size, going to need someone with tons of enthusiasm, a good eye for a player and tons of exeprience, good luck with this one Rangers

Ya, hard to read that any other way than he's walking, or thinking about it.

If he's staying they would say so.
If they were firing him they would have made their mind up before the meeting and it would be announced now.
So it must be that he's walking, or thinking about it?

I can't think of any other scenario, except maybe health.

Problem is , it would just be continuing the spiral of change, change , change.

Think we HAVE to stick with whoever, whatever for the whole of next season.

At least players would then know that they can't just wait for the next man if they don't like the look of the current manager!

Seeing as he is under contract, i can't see why they'd make a big announcement about him staying...

Still if he is off, at least we won't have to pay him and we have time to get a new man ready to take over the moment the season is over.

whole change of how the club is run needs to be made, I'd got for Gus Poyet for long term or for a short term fix go for Mick Mccarthy. I dread to think who it will be though

The spiral of change argument is a good un, but trumped by Mark Hughes.

Di Matteo anybody?

Brighton could well be in the prem next season and even if they aren't they are probably a better bet for promotion next season than us!

Why would anyone come to us? especially Poyet (regardless of what division Brighton are in next season)

Olly might be a Premiership manager with Palace next season.

Please not someone who actually cares about the club and is a proven manager at Championship level?

Okay, let's go for another Big I Am who couldn't give a stuff.

Best time to be a fan of QPR was under Olly and Warnock... Olly is much younger, has developed himself as a manager since he left us, and wouldn't stand for players like Bosingwa anywhere near this club.

Don't know who, but this decision will be massive. And I don't have much faith of them getting right.

Don't get me wrong, I agree that we don't want another Big I am who couldn't give a stuff.

And personally I've always felt, Redknapp was only a short term option for us and no good longer term.

If this club really are serious about an academy and new ground, we need to lay foundations from top to bottom.

As for Olly, love and appreciated his time. But, get back together with this squad, and all our problems? I'm not sure I want to ruin those memories. I'm not sure QPR and Olly are the right mix now.

Sadly, I'm not sure who is!

Looking down the Championship table i can't see any Managers who would want to come to us from the top half clubs.

Someone like Karl Robinson is probably worth a crack though, but i can't see TF changing his big name policy.

God knows who we'll end up with this time - no obvious candidate i can see?

Bye Bye Harry? on 16:57 - Apr 29 with 2385 viewsNorthernr

As said, not a lot of talent about. I wouldn't say no to Holloway, the place needs some pride and fun injected back into it first and foremost.
Poyet, probably wouldn't come but seems to sniff around every job that comes up at the moment so perhaps thinks he's done as much as he can at Brighton. Great appointment if we could manage it.
Karl Robinson, promising young manager but is this a job for somebody so inexperienced? I wouldn't be too unhappy if he got the job.
Rosler - to endear ourselves further to Brentford?
Martin Allen ?????

More than likely to be an absolute field day for the agents. Expect to see Vialli, Reidy Reid and all sorts of chumps being linked with it.

Cotterill would not be a good choice at all IMO, but I've said all season the only reason he's here is because he thinks there'll be a sniff of a job at the end of the season.
