Callum Byrne 21:16 - May 6 with 3297 views | Bainesy15 | Anyone know what happened to him? I remember him playing pre-season a couple of years ago and thought he looked quite good then he was on the squad for a while but he seems to have disappeared

With Hyde into the conference then maybe byrne will get a second chance as a pro as redshaw has
Callum Byrne on 18:51 - May 7 with 2824 views | boromat | I was always surprised when he left. I heard on here that he was offered a contract but because he wouldn't get first team football he decided to leave. Not sure how much truth is in it

Callum Byrne on 11:27 - May 8 with 2721 views | TomRAFC | we have seen some very good youngsters come and go the likes of callum warburton and ben kitchen for example it was very sad when paul dickov smashed gary brown to pieces because i honestly felt he could have become a quality player. still playing at non-league level i believe

The question is though, where are Callum Warburton and Ben Kitchen now. If they were good enough they would probably have worked their way back now, a la Jack Redshaw. As for Gary Brown, as mentioned on another thread by someone else, he is now playing for AFC Darwen, which is his home town. http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/afcdarwen/s/players-coaches-38834.html?player_id=3 He got in a little trouble after leaving us and I believe the injury really created some problems. I've never forgiven Dickov for a challenge like that - in a pre-season game.

Callum Byrne on 12:07 - May 8 with 2684 views | LoungeLizardMC | I was speaking to him a few months ago on facebook, he told me that he just wanted first team football (understandable) and he thought that if he started fresh somewhere else that his career might go somewhere, so that sounds like he'd been told by dale he wasnt going to get his chance. But told me he enjoys it at hyde and I've seen rave reviews
