With a few bit of overtime and away you go - £80k plus.....bit like appearance money for the first team players get!!!!


But the basic pay is £72k - They only get OT if a) its available - which is not guaranteed and b) if they want it

Their role is harder than most drivers because they have to learn 3 types of signalling to cover the whole network, there are sadly regular suicides on the open sections and they work long shifts. And the only time they get enhanced pay (ie above the normal salary) is when they work over their hours on a particular day.

Your sweeping statement that they all get paid 80k plus was wrong thats all

Anyway, its irrelevant now because as mentioned above its called off so I am not gonna fall out over it

The planned strike action affecting Elizabeth line services on Thursday 27 February and Saturday 1 March has been suspended.

Elizabeth line services are expected to run as normal on these days.

The strike action planned for Saturday 8 and Monday 10 March is still scheduled to go ahead.
