Is there any LOGICAL reason why our game tonight has been moved for Sky transmission? It’s being screened at the same time as their flagship “MNF” program which is showing a live Premier League game. I just can’t see anyone tuning into this isn’t a supporter of either team and the viewing figures will be woeful, so why move and televise this fixture?

It's nothing without the fans you know.
Stan jnr was coming on a Saturday, now can't come, cheers Sky.

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

Nope.

Unless you call Sky scheduling and ad revenue, logical.

I get that we absolutely have to have a televised fixture occasionally but 8pm is a right ballache. 7:30 or even 7:45 makes trains home far easier.

As we have discussed before, the viewing figures will be, in effect, zero.

Which they don't care about, as it is all about subscriptions and the overall package to show they are the place for all EFL football.

Oh for Saturday 3pms.

A dog licks its balls . Because it can .
Sky are using us all as a toy because every club has sold its soul for an extra few quid.
Looking forward to when the 3 o’clock live ban is lifted .
99% will still go .

They've said at the start of the season - subscribe to Sky, we've got 10,000 live EFL games, and your club will be on a minimum of 20 times. So they're fulfilling that.

A reasonable indication that no fcker is watching this sht is they've lost the Jameson's sponsor from the first half of the season and it's now "this broadcast is sponsored by EFL in the Community". So EFL having to sponsor its own product because nobody else is daft enough.

I mean I can't say I have watched a single minute of another Championship game live this season. Caught the odd League One and Two game but I rarely watch televised footy anymore. Almost 40 and still hitch a ride on my dads SkyGo.

Generally, QPR+ is the best option for those not able to go in person. Sadly, if its shown on Sky then it isnt available in every country. I believe that excludes western Europe and north America.

I agree the TV audience for QPR vs Luton will be close to ZERO.

Forest doing well likely to attract neutrals to that game too.`

Maybe more watch than we would think https://advanced-television.com/2024/06/11/sky-bet-championship-tv-audience-up-5

I know yesterday they had Fulham v Ipswich on and also Sunderland v Portsmouth. I popped on SvP for a bit, but to be honest rarely watch much footy on TV.

Ok fair enough on main game viewing figures but what about all these games such as those that kick off on Saturdays at 12.30pm and are on the red button.

Probably less than 70k viewers for these ones, i would imagine..

That might be due to more games so number of people watching each game is down but when they are showing 5 a day the numbers are bound to go up overall on EFL games

I enjoy lower / non-league / lower league Scottish games on Youtube.
