We should be using our youngsters way more , if we were to give him some first team exposure surely this would send a message to all the others.
Excelling = first team chance
We would be attracting prospects left right and centre we have all forgot where we have come from.

I don't think we move players through the ranks quickly enough.
Realistically speaking youth players should be knocking on the door of the first team by the age of 20 at the latest if we think they're ultimately going to be good enough. You may get the odd late bloomer, but if they don't look capable of at least being on the bench by then it's probably not going to happen.
I mean, Josh Thomas is 22 next month. Beyond the point of being a youth prospect, yet we're handling him like an 18 year old. |  |

It is crazy think of where we got to the promise land last time we had a pathway for these lads.
I would rather see one of our own pull our shirt on than a Liverpool crock or Chelsea money spinner.
don’t get me wrong if we could get a rushworth standard player in fair play.

It is puzzling me as well the top agents will look at the pathway and first team chances.
In the last 4 seasons how many lads of got a chance?
We are operating like a semi pro side in some areas we really need to invest in our youth.
as we will never compete with a parachute club in the market look at Burnley they have won the league already.
But with a real pathway we would be churning out talent again. | |
