The whole point of Indy is that it will be up to the people of Wales to decide for themselves. You know just like the Ukrainians want.

Indy is nornal for nations the world over.
No country that left the British Empire ever asked to return.
I wonder why ?

Have you anyrhing positive to say about Wales at all ?
Europe dont see Wakes as a priority - guess ?
Every other nation modernizes as suits them - guess that Wales uniquely cannot possibly modernise.
Welsh leaders are uniquely incapable, have you seen Mogg, Rishi and Johnson ?

Read what John has posted many times about our small nation having all the natural resources we need to be successful in the modern world. Try google.

Try googling how wales was robbed of billions with HS2.
Maybe you think our transport system does not need new investment ?

Mogg loves boot lickers, that how he gets away with this ….

OK,

The people of Wales do not want indy making your first point entirely irrelevant.

The second point is also irrelevant, none of those countries were on the British mainland but most of those countries did stay in the commonwelath and some applied to join too, who weren't even in the Empire.

Under this curent government I struggle to find anything posiitve. NHS, screwed, Schools, screwed, infratsructure, screwed, economy, screwed. Wales hasa lot of very nice people though and is a lovely place to visit if yo can negotiate the out of date roads, the tourist tax and maybe that M4 tax too.

Read what John has posted, no, I was hoping you would know enough bout the claims you make to be able to post something coherent yourself. Anothr hope dashed on the rocks of ignorance.

Of course our tansport systen needs investment BUT all of it, the whole of Wales struggles to get around, business has had enough and needs a transport system fit for the WHOLE of Wales, not just the South East corner.

Speaking as someone who has long said we need massive change in our political system, how does this inform me?

What will Brown and Drakeford do, Brown is yesterdays man and Drakeford is a "never was" who somehow got into power which still completely baffles me, it's like Welsh labour keep trying to fail, keep trying to get worse to see how many will still vote for them no matter what. There's still about 400k left who will apparently.

Its the link below about Indy that i suggested you should read.
My apologies.

I would have given Brown and Drakers view a good hearing back in 2014.
It was a real chance to reform the union.
Instead it ended up leading many to having to suffer both Brexit and Johnsons flag sh@gging unionism.
And that leads you to Indy as the only real way forward.

Hardly a way forward when an independent Wales will loose billions from the UK taxpayers, will have no currency, hard borders, and be unable to rejoin the EU, which we voted to leave, because they cannot meet new fiscal rules that new members have to meet .

Poll: Sholud Wales rollout vaccination at full speed.

The best way forward for Wales is for a complete, UK wide reorganisation and a more "federal" approach.

It was promised in 2014.

The Scots bought it.

Never delivered, Brexit imposed on Scotland, massive Tory majority that Wales and Scotland never voted for.

Not sure people will fall for it again.
It has to be a union of choice like the EU.
The Welsh and Scots and Saes must be able to leave if they want that.
It cannot be a jail like the Tories want.

And its the continued bad faith from Westminster.
Yesterday …. First Minister of Wales Mark Drakeford told BBC Scotland he would ‘dispute’ the use of the internal market act for the deposit return scheme.

Johnson refused to meet Drakers and Comrade Nicola even though previous PMs had. Childish and unprofessional - plus they both outlasted him … 🤣

They were certainly lied to and manipulated.
Certainly not in their best interests.
Remain did nothing to counter, old Jezza was almost complicit, the big fanny.

Once the Tories are out there needs to be a look at Russian money into Leave.

First up it was a UK general election and we got the party that won the most seats, they even won 14 seats in Wales.

It is a union of choice, Scotland had a referendum and voted to remain, Wales has a large majority in favour of the union.

Bojo is a compete dick, he is part of the very large problem, him and the likes of Raab, Gove etc. reform has to be real, it has to be negotiated amongst all 4 nations and an agreed system put in place.

personally I'd prefer we didn't talk about the Uk as 4 nations but instead split the Uk up into regions where funding is applied according to need and not given simply because it's a capital city.

Nope.
People in the valleys voted to leave for exactly the same reason as posh, scum, vile ,poisonous ,lying Tories .
Xenophobia is not confined to the more wealthy
Working class arguably the most racially obsessed of all.

They couldn’t wait to leave and that goes for industrial northern England

I think a proper reform would see the UK divided into more than 4 regions based in the specific needs of those regions.

Voting to leave was nothing to do with xenophobia.

It was a democratic vote against bring a member of the undemocratic EU

maybe I'm only speaking for myself and people I know but xenophobia had nothing to do with it.

It's easy to pigeon hole people but it's usually more compicated and such a lazy assumption.

Nope.

I’m sure some did but not the majority.

However, as can be seen in this thread, many the same reasons given for wales going Indy were why people voted Brexit.

IMHO the consistent stance would be wales as part of the union and the union as part of the EU.

Other opinions are of course available.

Yes there are similar regions but also many different reasons.

Personally, one ofmy reasons was there were too many politiicians and we had 3 governments ruling us when ONE should do. That's partly why I dump the Senedd too tho there is much more to both arguments.

In saying that, the day could theoretically come when I'd vote for indy just to rid us of another group of useless self serving politicians but the Senedd would have to have improved a whole hell of a lot for that to become a reality.

No.

The posh wanted the protect their tax havens. The timing of the vote tells us that. The EU were chasing them down. This was about money to them.

Obviously they could not say that as there are no votes in it.
So the appealed to the hard of thing through own laws, owns borders etc.
The masses bought into the lies.
This is where critical thinking is important, i mean how likely was posh boys Johnson and Mogg to care about the working man.

And then the Russian money, still to be played out.
Putin wanted Brexit as it damaged the EU.
