Having said that, pre-season friendlies are a notoriously unreliable guide to how things will go in the campaign to come and only a complete halfwit would take them as a true indicator, which would explain why so many of our own dullards have. |  |

I don’t think we can take much from pre season results. But pre season patterns of play, we certainly can.
It appears we are sticking with the ludicrous when it comes to our defensive plays and goal kick routines.
You have to ask yourself why we are going that. For genuine on field benefit, or just to be different. I can’t help feeling, yet again under Martin, it’s the latter. |  |
