Boro have sold 2200 for tomorrow 19:40 - Feb 8 with 3991 viewslosethedrum

That is very impressive for a midweek game , should be a good atmosphere .
Time for our support to come out in large numbers for a night league game for the first time this season (mostly been 11/12k so far) and get behind the rangers from the first whistle .

They took about 5,000 to Blackburn a few Mondays ago. There was a crowd of them watching the Cup game in a pub in Hammersmith last week.

Scooters, Tunes, Trainers and QPR.

Good on them. I like Boro. We always get a good welcome in the pub up there, the atmosphere at the ground is good considering it's an identikit bowl, and they come without the "we're fcking massive" chip on their shoulder of their other north east or yorkshire rivals.

Lovely club 'Boro - have family ties and been a few times over the years when up in that part of the world. Hope we stuff 'em tonight of course - had the nerves a fluttering since yesterday morning, the perils of being up at the right end!

The old 'one job on Teeside' chant for Joseph Desire-Job is also up there with my favourite football chants!

Giving the changing demographic of inner west london and the fact a majority of our fan base now live a good distance from our original catchment areas, i would say we get very few walk ups. Matchday prices versus watch football on TV also a major factor.

Even evident how easy it is to park around Wormholt etc now compared to yesteryear, so many fans even live too far to drive to the ground now, especially for midweek games.

Ticket prices go up £5 on the day of the game as I recall and they're expensive enough as it is. Probably count the walk-ups on your fingers.

Poll: And it's hi ho

Yes this kills the matchday sales stone dead , a so called " GOLD " seat in B block south africa road is today priced at £38 & if buying online £41.50 .
Early in the season we were told the ground will be full if the team is winning , well as the majority of the games this season have been tues/wed/fri this clearly is not the case .
Maybe time to look at the prices & adjust if not on a sat at 3pm.

Yes I noticed that yesterday, outside ST areas in ER, its about 20 - 35% availability.

School night, available for a tenner from the club, so understandable I guess?

About 3 years ago I did a post on this "Lee Hoos turn up ticket tax".

The fact its a fiver more to decide to walk up on the day is ridiulous and probably has cost the clubs many hundreds of thousands down the years.

Pure greed and stupidity, as stated tickets cost enough as they are.

Fair play to those Boro travelling down - albeit many clubs up and down will have fans in London and Home Counties I guess who swell numbers at these fixtures.
