Week 18 results SOUTHAMPTON 1 BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION 1 Brighton get a 98th-minute equaliser despite being a man down through injury, but it also meant Brighton equalled an unenviable club-record 10 successive top-flight matches without a win. A massive 11 got this spot-on, in what was the weeks most predicted score, and one more had the outcome. WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS 0 LIVERPOOL 1 Liverpool are another team to benefit from getting a late goal, as they get a 94th minute winner. 27 predicted a win for Liverpool, but nobody got it spot-on. MIDDLESBROUGH 1 SWANSEA CITY 0 Isaiah Jones' first goal of the season gave Middlesbrough victory against an out-of-sorts Swansea. A great 8 got this spot-on, and a further 13 had the outcome. NOTTINGHAM FOREST 2 PETERBOROUGH UNITED 0 James Garner scored and set up another as Forest handed Peterborough their 10th away defeat of the season. A great 8 had this spot-on, and another 18 got the outcome. READING 1 HULL CITY 1 Hull had to settle for a draw to bring an end to their run of four straight victories. 3 got this spot-on, and 3 also had the outcome. ACCRINGTON STANLEY 5 FLEETWOOD TOWN 1 Accrington enjoyed a comfortable victory over 10-man Fleetwood. Nobody had this spot-on, but 20 did get the outcome. WOW! After a season, in what has on the whole been a struggle, we produce a record breaking one this week. Despite two games not having a 3 pointer, the other four made up for it in a big way by achieving 30. Add to that 82 outcomes, and it gave us the best 6 game week in my time of administrating the Happy League. The weeks top performer was Tropical_Us, as he was the only one to have three 3 pointers, the Southampton 1-1, and the wins for Middlesbrough and Forest. He also got the other three outcomes to make him the weeks top scorer with a brilliant 12 points. There were ten members who did well to get two 3 pointers, the best of them being RSCOSWORTH, who had the draws at Southampton and Reading, and wessex_exile who got the Southampton 1-1 and the Forest 2-0. They both also got the other four outcomes, to make it three members this week to get a full house, to give them each an excellent 10 points. Happy Midweek League Cup The fixtures are coming thick and fast in this competition now, and the next round of games take place next Tuesady 7th December, with a 19.45 deadline. Champions League Just four weeks and only 32 games now before we know this seasons qualifiers. Current holder concordman qualifies automatically. But he looks like being one of a few from the Premier this season, as the Division One continues to dominate. The member currently in that eleventh and final qualifying spot is mfb_cufc, with 71 points. With two others on the same number of points, and six more within 4 points of that total, qualifying looks like going to the last game in Week 22. In the Premier That late Brighton equaliser for RSCOSWORTH means he was able to stretch his lead back to a decent 7 points. Going 1-0 all games had proved to be a good decision the last two weeks for TheFatGooner, and going 1-0 five games this week looked promising at one stage, but he had to settle for just the one in the end, but it was enough to keep him in a comfortable second place. Four outcomes for mfb_cufc, and he remains third, but only on the first to post rule from Daniel, who moved back into the final Super Cup place, after a week away. Two spot-ons, the Southampton 1-1 and the Middlesbrough 1-0, for sevebalo, moved him back into the top half. Two spot-ons also for Sector4, the Southampton 1-1 and the Forest 2-0, moved him up a place, but still only a point above the bottom three. Two 3 pointers for ghughes11, the wins for Middlesbrough and Forest, were not quite enough to get him out of the relegation zone, but he is only there by losing out on the first to post rule. Only outcomes for noah4x4 and Blue4U2, has suddenly left them a bit isolated from those above. In Division One Having the draws at Southampton and Reading spot-on, helped to keep blueeagle top for the second week running. The excellent week for wessex_exile moved him up a couple of places, and back into the other automatic spot again. A very consistent season so far for Pinault_Noir, and he was another to get the draws at Southampton and Reading spot-on this week. He remains third, but only losing out on the most 3 pointer rule. The top scoring performance from Tropical_Us moved him up three places, and back into a play-off place after two weeks away. Only three outcomes for Lewis_1 means he drops to fifth. Remaining in the final play-off place for fourth week in a row is gerry_us, after he had the wins for Middlesbrough and Forest spot-on. The biggest rise in this League came from medicine_man, up four places thanks to getting the Southampton 1-1 and the Middlesbrough 1-0 spot-on. The final member to get two 3 pointers this week was rookie bwildered, who was another to get the Southampton 1-1 and the Forest 2-0 spot-on, to give him a season best score of 8 points.
