That double save was NOT "Standard", Bri - look at it again. He had to pick himself up as he dived to stop one that didn't get through, was clearly starting to move the other way when the first one came through. It was really travelling and he'd have seen it late.

Disagree, his reactions were superb for the double save. Additionally, the ball came through a crowd of players.
He's got everything you need from a keeper. Now just needs games to add to his experience.
We need to be careful though...Butland was once touted to be worth £20m and a loss of form meant he ended up leaving for £1m. Crazy when you consider that. So, if a good offer comes in we'd need to consider it. But what could a championship keeper be worth in this climate? [Post edited 21 Jan 2021 8:00]

If your scenario comes to be, we've got two or three young keepers and I have heard they are highly rated by those that watch the U23s. So they may be able to provide back up for Kelly. More than likely though we would look for another Barnes type to be 2nd/3rd choice as well. | | | |

His command of his goal area is outstanding, just oozes confidence! Which in turn transmits to the rest of the defence! The saves were very good but his handling of the ball in really bad conditions speaks volumes! Yes ladies and gentlemen we have a keeper! |  |
