Les Mis. Not ashamed to admit I get something in my eye. Saw War of the Worlds in Cardiff couple of years ago. Outstanding even without Burtons amazing voice and Justin Hayward. Liam Neeson took over from our famous Welshman. Blood Brothers brilliant. Lion King stunning.
Worst I have seen is Joseph. Maybe influenced by the irritating H from Steps who was Joseoh.

Went to NY with a girlfriend many years ago and we’d booked to go and see Les Mis on Broadway. Of all the things we pre-booked, this was the one I was least looking forward to. I’d have given it a miss if I could have.
Thank goodness I didn’t. It was brilliant and one of the highlights of that particular visit there (other than being able to go on the open roof of the WTC which was breathtaking).
Saw Barnum and Billy Liar ( last one was a play not a musical ) both with Michael Crawford and both at Drury Lane, several years apart. Also went to see EFX at MGM Grand Las Vegas. He was supposed to be in it, but was substituted at the last minute. Apart from those : Les Mis Phantom Blood Brothers Evita Jersey Boys Several others as well Les Mis is the best IMHO. Apparently Blood Brothers is based on a true story?
