After the dust has settled he will have no choice.
Dream on son, huge majority and it’s only bitter, loser lefties that are trying to play politics with peoples deaths caused by a worldwide epidemic and people can see that, although it will not stop the vile scum trying.

Resign. Now.
To be replaced by who? Or do you think we should have a general election? Think about it, it's not going to happen. Nobody else in the Toy ranks will happily challenge Bojo right now, not if they've half a brain. Bojo is carryig the can for evertything that's happening and the oh so loyal Tories (like Gove) will back him all the way to the cliff edge but they won't push him off until things have improved or look like improving. Then someone will want to step in and take any credit they can. If Bojo did resign, which Tory would you want instead? I reckon Rishi Sunak would have a chance.

He has a huge majority and isn’t going anywhere, as Catullus has said only an idiot would want to step up to the plate at this time.
I think there are a few “lefties” out there trying to make some political capital out of this, equally like there were “righties” doctoring video footage of Kier Starmer to make political capital a few days ago, there are unscrupulous scumbags under lots of rocks and stones.
I think people have every right to ask questions of Boris, the government and scientific advisors. If you look at the period week ending 27th of March through to the week ending 1st of May there were 108,000 deaths, that’s 46,500 more deaths than the average number of deaths during the corresponding period for the last 5 years. Yes it’s a world wide epidemic, but we have the second highest number of deaths and I think we, and the families of the victims have a right to ask questions and expect answers.

Saying that I would imagine the families of the many who will now die from Cancer and heart disease etc due to not having access to early diagnosis and treatment because of this lockdown will have questions to ask as well, and to make matters worse most hospitals are quieter now than they have ever been, yet these people are still being neglected, many believe in the long run there will be far more deaths caused by this than the virus itself.

I agree with the point you are making re other health conditions, it is a significant issue. Unfortunately because of Covid19 a lot of our hospitals are “no go areas” - if those individuals with underlying health conditions were to attend they could well end up catching the illness. We need to start thinking about alternative options about seeing patients.
I was responding to PP’s comments about people who were playing politics, people have a right to question the governments response as do those who are being denied treatment. We must find different ways of working.

He has been found out. How the fck anyone voted for him is beyond me.
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

He has a funny name and funny hair. Thsts why the thick tw@@ts voted for him.
There is an element of truth in this. Brits seem to like someone who's 'a bit of a character' like Anne Widdecombe who maybe slightly amusing but a lot of her political views are horrendous. Anyone with a modicum of comedy value seems to attract more support than they deserve.

If we'd had Starmer instead of Corbyn it probably wouldn't be this way.
Don’t blame Corbyn, blame the electorate. “Country unpleasantly surprised that austerity obsessed political party they voted for has left their country almost defenceless in the face of a global pandemic shocker”.
If only we could have tested the system to see if it could have coped in 2016 , or something. Oh yes, they did and it failed.
Still no meaningful quarantine at airports, even though that’s the most likely gateway the virus used to saunter in. For 4 months now.
If people seriously voted for “personality” (!) over policies then unfortunately the buck stops there.

Blame the electorate for not electing someone unelectable...
The hard left has always been barely on nodding terms with reality. Corbyn and Momentum are largely responsible for giving us the most right wing and incompetent government in living memory.
Ironic, innit?

It’s true, anyone ignoring the levels of indulgence that will continue to be given to ‘little mischievous boy Boris’ is in for a big shock. Even if the country goes down the pan, he will Probably come up roses and emerge unscathed. My sister said that people at a virtual quiz she did last night were talking about how ‘poor Boris’ was being bullied by nasty Starmer. I kid you not.
If he was bald he would not be prime mincer. That is how shallow we have become.

He’s been elected to parliament non stop for 30 years. Come on, it’s policies that count.

The electorate didn’t believe them either...and it hasn’t just been about policies since Nixon’s “six o’clock shadow” helped JFK get elected.
There’s a difference between being a diligent, plodding local MP and Prime Minister. He was a bit dim and still stuck in 70s student politics. It wasn’t just Corbyn - every time Abbott, Burgon, McDonnell and Gardiner opened their mouths in the media was a gift to the Tories.
Starmer has at last brought some talent in from the backbenches and got rid of the front bench liabilities. He’s also crucifying Johnson.

There is a funny thing on social media where the exact words, pauses, umms and ahhhs, are read out but by a woman with a strong Geordie accent. To show how unelectable it would be.
I said during the election campaign, that it’s about time the working class in this country stopped being fooled by a ‘posh’ voice and stopped mistaking it for intelligence.
You’re right though that bald blokes are hardly ever prime mincer material - need to be generally better looking to get that status

You can be bald and be prime mincer.
The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.
