Don’t all managers live in their own, biased, worlds, or am I missing ssomething?

The diasappointing thing is that this supposedly intelligent bloke is falling into all the typical old stereotypes. In the land of the blind.......

Well Steve said a draw was fair and Dych yesterday said draw was fair v Huddersfield.

It DOES happen, not often though I agree!

Agree with Hampton that their goalie was poor for our equaliser.

Not having that Dave, sorry - if we scored from free kick, scorer would be down as L.Freeman!

think your just being pedantic here, the goal came from the free kick that really shouldn't have been given and did get us back in the game, he's not wrong in what he says really. It changed the game and we played well after the goal.

If roles were reversed and we were 1 up and conceded from a free kick where Mount clearly dived then I doubt many on here would be saying get over it and that our manager shouldn't mention it

Ref had a clear view and was fairly close to it. I didn't see it at the time but on the highlights it looked like the tackle got leg before ball and someone else on here thought a bit of shirt pulling as well. Eze very good at winning free kicks, shields the ball and makes it difficult for opponent.

Just looking at the highlights on the Offy, clearly kicks Eze on the ankle and not the ball.
Free kick all day long. Lumpard go go fck himself.

Smells like a trout farm in here

Just pointing out that manager ignores 3 things his own team did wrong AFTER the free kick

GK not holding or getting the ball to safety, his players not getting to 2nd ball and not marking the scorer.

Easier to blame the ref I guess.

Fat Frank has become even more delusional since becoming a father. He has produced a side in the mode of himself on a bad day. They moan, they cheat, they expect every tackle to result in a yellow or red card against the opposition. Derby fans, like FF Lampard have a deranged sense of "entitlement" which has been misplaced since the glory days of Clough. Nice town but, despite the huge investment, little better than an average Championship side. It makes I laugh to hear or read comments from Lampoon justifying his forthcoming descent into the lower echelons. They were ordinary today and we were considerably better. I have little love for Mclaren but he outwitted Lampoon and his side outplayed his team. It becomes even more hilarious to hear a manager whose side have been favoured outrageously by an incompetent referee giving some scandalous decisions, mostly against QPR bemoaning a marginal decision which he claims cost Derby the game.

His eldest daughter is a teenager, are you saying he's been delusional for 13 years ???

Also should tell his players not to pull opponents shirts in dangerous positions as I’m sure the ref gave it for a tug on Eze’s shirt.

Agree, that it was very poor defending from then on.

His argument would be if the free kick isn't given none of those mistakes happen

I've just watched the whole game again, and for Lampard to say that Derby "deserved to win" is nonsense really. A draw was a fair result, but overall we looked slightly more likely to win than Derby. But it's the sort of thing managers say because they always want to give the impression they are doing a good job. As for the free kick, the Derby defender actually stood on Eze's foot which was why he went down, so technically it was a foul. Carson is a poor keeper IMHO and the way he failed to deal properly with the free kick just highlights his shortcomings.

Visiting manager fails to take all 3 points and is "ungracious".

Sooooooooooooo you get a free kick or corner awarded against you that you don't agree with (nearly every one at this level) and its ok to stand around sulking? - its not under 9s!

Fed up with managers coming out and spouting nonsense - you're obviously happy to listen to it.

Agree it happens all the time and its ridiculous.

Waste of time interviewing them most of the time, because what they say bears no semblance with reality.

Like Warnock on the Ralls red card - happens in front him like that to one of HIS players and what's his reaction then?!

If a free kick or corner is correctly awarded and you concede from that, what excuse/hiding place do you then have?

and if a Derby player hadn't lost possession two mins earlier we never would have had the ball there in the first place to enable the ref to give a free kick. It's pretty daft, dave. A penalty - fair enough. But most teams will get a fortunate free kick around the box in most games.

Bare bones.

Both him, and his team think they are better than they actually are. Seemed to miss all the wrong decisions his side were given. FOFF

Exactly.

I DO get it, if Freeman's fk goes straight in or in the case of a penalty obviously.

He lost his shìt pretty spectacularly when losing to Rovrum and was red carded and fined for that so not the first time.

I'm pretty sure there was a manager (Warnock?) who said they set aside £100,000 at the start of the season just to cover disrepute fines for calling refs out.

Fat Frank Lampard on 20:46 - Oct 9 with 1897 viewsHarbour

If he had not moaned about the free kick FFL would have come up with some other weasel excuse. Derby are not exactly taking the championship by storm the draw on saturday was a fair result. With the squad he has at his disposal if I was a derby fan I would not be impressed...

Indeed - the shock of the new little'un has driven him over the edge. Has always tended to live in a fantasy world - imagine believing that his goal versus Germany should have been given!
