Relegation Zone 18:19 - Apr 22 with 2869 views | Jackfath | We're still not in it. We are still 4 points clear. We got battered today. Playing the Champions on their own patch nobody would have got a result there today. Just saying.

Relegation Zone on 18:26 - Apr 22 with 2762 views | LeonWasGod | They've got at least 5 against us, palace, Stoke, Watford. 4 against Real Madrid ffs. And Spurs, L'pool. Time to put it behind us and concentrate on the next match.

Relegation Zone on 18:34 - Apr 22 with 2645 views | Dippy | I don't know Fath.. City didn't even get into the car to put it into gear. It exposed how rudderless, boring, slow and ponderous we are.. 6 yard box tap in Suicidal penalty Giving the ball to De Bruyne to unleash without any pressure Let David Silva turn and pick out how many passes he wanted Every time we attempt to go forward we lose the ball almost comedy Slice the ball out like a 4th division reserve side when under no pressure 8 yards free header with perfect pin point delivery gone over the bar De Bruyne could've gone for a sh*t for 5 minutes during the game, and Ederson could've joined the away section during the 2nd half. The only thing that we learned from this game.. is that we are actually worse than first feared. [Post edited 22 Apr 2018 18:38]

And yet we would smash a high flying Cardiff City side if we played them.

Relegation Zone on 18:42 - Apr 22 with 2536 views | jackharris | Excellent post Jackfath! The teams below us and some above us have some extremely difficult games to come. Four points at this time of year are massive. I think we will get a point v Chelsea and I think Carlos will target the Bournemouth game and we will win down there. Meaning we will be safe before that last week. Which can be seen as a bit of a safety net.

No we wouldn’t unfortunately.
Relegation Zone on 19:08 - Apr 22 with 2324 views | Private_Partz | I am in both camps. You have to be positive when we are four points clear with very few games to go. It does not hide from the fact however that today's performance was shockingly bad. Regardless of the opposition we looked and played like we were completely shot of confidence. Carry on like that and we will be lucky to get any more points. The other downside is we may well have another close season of incompetence and ditherimg from Jenkins, whether we survive or not. I fear the club will not be able to take another hit like that and will go into freefall.

Relegation Zone on 19:11 - Apr 22 with 2274 views | sP7qupUf | Let's be honest, we expected to get beaten today. We are a poor squad and if we stay up Carlos would have done the job. Stoke are at Anfield next up, Southampton and other strugglers have to play City and numerous others. We still need a win, but our home form has been excellent and 3 of our remaining games are at home.Yes, it's been tough of late but a 4 point gap is significant and it is still very much ours to lose. I bet Stoke and Southampton would change places with us in a heartbeat.

Let in an early goal against Chelsea and we could implode, score an early goal and get the crowd going and we could be virtually safe by 19.30 next Saturday. Really is in the balance next week.

Yep. The wheels have come off a bit. We're lucky we did so well in our honeymoon period for Carlos and have that 5 point gap. As it's 1 win in the last 7 now, averaging just under a point a game. But to be fair 5 of those have been away and we've won 1/drawn 1 of the 2 home games. If we haven't lost the effort and quality at home, we should be ok. Everton suggests we still can put in the effort and play on the front foot when we want to, but we must take our chances. There are no second chances now.

Chelsea will be well up for it a win will take them to within 2 points of Spurs. Who don't play till the Monday night. A big ask to get anything out of this game.

We’d destroy you, you have no team spirit, no talent and remind me of us the year we went down. Players getting paid a fortune who care not one bit.

Relegation Zone on 20:33 - Apr 22 with 1899 views | sainthelens | Hate saying it, but Chelsea will be over us like a rash, Saints will get a point v Bournemouth and this site will then explode . I'm still confident we'll be ok as we'll win either of last 2 home games. Always thought would go to the last week, it's what we do. Saints will need to beat Citeh last game. Won't happen and we'll survive.
