SCSA MEETING TONIGHT!! 17:22 - Feb 1 with 58933 viewsunion_jack

Don't forget that the SCSA is holding an open meeting tonight at The Cwmfelin Club starting at 7-00 pm.

Please try and make it if you can and support the cause.

We are expecting ITV Wales to be there and broadcasting live from 6-30 I believe. Also we are expecting some local political presence.

The future of our club is important and the SCSA are working hard to ensure it is a prosperous one.

Please come along if you can.

Hopefully see some of you there.

Tempting to say myself Gary as I always get a good debate but I was addressing Leigh ...I'm assuming it's him anyway.

Its really not Leigh or anyone of interest. Just a fan.

Perch is like the Bobby Robson of Planet Swans with a little bit of 'bricktop' thrown in.

Because they will have voting power to veto any damaging decisions made by owners that do not have the clubs intentions at heart.

Such a fairytale ending.

They have invested millions into our club so they have the right to make any decisions which relate to their investment.

We are just fans....a rollercoaster of ups and downs.

Never understood the sense of entitlement within our fanbase.

The Trust will also have invested millions if they buy the rewuired amount of shares.

Thats the point.

Why would I prefer people with the clubs interest at heart to be able to veto decisions that damage the club made by venture capitalists? Really need to answer that?

You arent making sense now.

What do you mean a rainy day? When the club goes bad and they have to buy it? The thing you are now seemingly against.

I am 100% for the Trust selling its shares and gaining most money possible from the deal. The Trust could then use the cash to support good causes such as childrens football and keep the majority of the cash away for a rainy day.

You are correct...the rainny day would be to buy the club if it ever went south.

The Trust as a major shareholder in the Premier League is completely pointless.

The Trust played a huge part in our recent success but now things have moved on.

Surely anyone can see this unless you are blinded by revenge and hatred.

Sell. Invest. Be ready

To be successful you have to see the bigger picture at all times. You must see that legal action has no positive outcome. Complete stupidity.

Sell. Invest. Be ready - this should be the Trusts new slogan.

Invest in childrens football? God, I hope I never see that day.

I am not blinded by revenge, I am not blinded by hatred. I am a realist and fully against this Jenkins out movement as I have said from the start.

A Trust that owns a meaningful stake in our Premier League club would be utterly amazing. It is 100% the goal - or at least should be. But due to the fact legal action would not be enough to buy a meaningful stake in a PL club then by default it would have to wait until things go south. So you should be fully behind that then?

You do realise that if the trust sells it's shares for as much money as possible, it will mean them having to take legal action don't you? Other than that, there is no deal on the table! You are bordering on a 'bit simple' now.

I think we can safely assume that swanseacitx isn't going to answer my question then.

He has absolutely no idea whether the Trust may or may not have a legal case against the old shareholders.

As we were.
