I think our DOF is obsessed with that.

Yeah, I think it's hard for players who don't start every game to hit the ground running when they do occasionally get a start, and especially so for strikers. He'll probably follow Vincent Janssen as another striker who couldn't be Kane's back-up.
Going back a bit, it was one of the reasons why Bony was going to fail at City - he takes some time to get up to fitness (as we're re-discovering now) was never going to start every game for City. | | | |

They just want an aerial threat to bring on for the last 10 minutes when they are chasing a game and need to go direct. Llorente and Carroll are amongst the best in the country at that.
