Clement's Thursday press conference 16:23 - Sep 21 with 7055 views | Tummer_from_Texas | Some noteworthy stuff: * Ki and Dyer back soon: "Ki has rejoined training today, he will not be involved this weekend and Nathan Dyer will get some football for the U-23s against Manchester City on Friday night. We will get Ki involved in the next U-23 game against Celtic assuming he comes through training okay." * On Sanches: "With each game there has been improvement, from Newcastle on to Tottenham and Reading. I see him heading in one direction." * On team selection for Watford: "There are players, and I am not talking about him (Sanches), who could come out of the team and come back in at a later date. I have seven players in my mind for the weekend, but the other four I am still thinking over." Later said that Bony was one of the possibles. "He is not here to be a bit-part player we want him to have a big contribution." * Reading recap: "Roque did very well, Wilfred lasted longer than I thought and Luciano and Angel got extra minutes so there are extra things I am considering." http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/swansea-city-press-con

Cos he's crap. He was nothing special in the run. Say it enough times and it becomes fact.

Clement's Thursday press conference on 20:59 - Sep 22 with 5652 views | TheResurrection | Also Clement alluded to the fact he's happy with the defensive side of our game and now it's time to start looking at improving our attack. I'm pretty sure Pencoed was gutted to hear this and the 4 to 7 games to see FFF is on like Donkey Kong. Come on..........

Didn't he play in the Sigurdsson roll for Sunderland when he was on loan there. I think he is a decent player

""“The defensive side of things can come a little bit quicker, but offensively you need a bit more fluidity and players take time to get to know each other. We are working on it for sure""

Clement's Thursday press conference on 11:06 - Sep 23 with 5212 views | Dr_Winston | The proof will be in the pudding, and it's obvious from our pursuit of Chadli that we'd have added even more ability going forward in the window if the finances had been right, but the sensible move for any manager is to get the defence right first. Clement has, for the most part, done just that. Important for the intent to be there though even if the fluidity isn't yet. Far too much backwards stuff against the Geordies even taking everything into account.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

That's the key for me. Intent. That's why I was pleased to see Sanches trying ambitious and creative things, even though it wasn't coming off. Including the long range shots.

If our final 3rd game is to improve we must move it(thr ball_) and also think much quicker, Sanches places passes in front of the players and most of our boys don't seem to read it or understand it yet, i'm sure clement knows the score . We need to develop rapidly though, the longer we make it easy for teams in the final 3rd the more they will push players and attack us putting pressure on the defense, it's a very fine balance but if given a choice i'd get it right at the back first, clement has done just that, there is always the Jan window to tweak attcking options and i think Chadli will be one of those coming in.

When we play proper football, Ki is silky as. I'm just waiting for Clem to start playing Mesa on a permanent basis. The Spaniards drool over him, and they know their shit when it comes to football.
