I've asked the question again. Not hopeful of an answer.

Dale v Tarn on 20:36 - Jul 25 with 8593 views | Daley_Lama | Dale controlled most of the first half. Couple of chances for Inman, one for Hendo, all not really smashed, more passed to the keeper. Same can't be said for Camps who hit an absolute rocket, pushed over by the keeper. Nothing of note to worry about at the other end. A Triallist done nothing wrong so far, looks far more involved than on Sat.

I couldn't find it first. If you are registered/logged in then go to home page and click on match centre underneath where it says Rochdale 0 Barnsley 0. It does work - although it keeps cutting out for me and I have to refresh every few mins.

Dale v Tarn on 21:01 - Jul 25 with 8302 views | DaleFan7 | A very nothing game as expected for a friendly. Trialist has played well, centre of midfield has been quite poor. Very bad from Lillis to drop the ball for the goal. [Post edited 25 Jul 2017 21:05]

Dale v Tarn on 21:58 - Jul 25 with 7503 views | ChaffRAFC | Few point from the first pre-season game I've seen: * Trialist was our best player by a distance. * Andrew had a good first half but poor second half * Reece Brown was poor overall * Keane looked off the pace along with Jamie Allen. * Canavan was Canavan. Awful for their second goal. * Camps had a good game but tired in the second half. Very clear the team is being built around him * Williams looks confident but still adapting to the pace of this level and looked shattered. * Lillis looked suspect all game and was at fault for the first goal. Got several bollockings off Hill as well. * Inman and Henderson both had chances they should have done a lot better with and Camps went very close with a great effort. * Did well first half but tired very quickly in the second half.

It was a soft header back. Should have kept hold with ease and didn't. Goalkeeper error.

Dale v Tarn on 22:04 - Jul 25 with 7415 views | 442Dale | -We seem to be going 4-4-2 at the moment. Calvin and Henderson up top tonight, the former was excellent. - Pace. Lack of. We don't break quickly enough and Inman hasn't looked comfortable out wide so far. - Defence. Same old problems. Canavan not bing good enough being one of them. No problem with him being done for pace but he'd got into a position at one stage to get a challenge in but didn't think quickly enough and the second was a formality. - First goal: Lillis made what was a good save by getting there but chose to try and hold it rather than pushing it away and it spilled for them to score. - Trialist LB did better than Saturday and ay be worth a short term deal as cover but still failing to see what Briwn gives us at RB. Cannon did much better there in his time on the pitch; his displays pre-season have been a real positive. Need: a centre half. Still. Need: pace to take the ball up the pitch when we recover the ball. [Post edited 25 Jul 2017 22:04]

Based on what I've seen so far, my starting eleven for Pompey would be the starting line from against Middlesbrough with Ntlhe in at left back. I don't think any of those who came in tonight (with the exception of Ntlhe) did anything to justify winning a starting spot.

I agree with most of that Canavan a liability could have cost another couple of goals. Lillis very poor. Keane needs more minutes. Thought the triallist was alright but nothing special, some good tackles but also gave the ball away a few times. Andrew/henderson/Williams all did well up to the point of having a shot which then were awful. McNulty is no left back. Inman looked decent as did camps and Allen for the first 70 minutes. Would imagine hill will be critical of the defending and decision making having said that's what's got to be improved on.

Dale v Tarn on 22:18 - Jul 25 with 7242 views | Daleaholic | 3 players missing tonight who should be starting every game. McGahey, Rathbone and Davies. Think you can call that the spine of the team, all vitally important.

Dale v Tarn on 22:19 - Jul 25 with 7214 views | Daley_Lama | Lillis did drop a clanger for the goal but he also made a cracking one on one save not lobg after. Canavan was absolutely fine all match for me, the goal was the last kick of the game and he was left isolated 1v1. Yes, hecwas out muscled for the goal, which was nicely taken. Hendo looks sharp, A Triallist was very good for me. Casual Jim the latest effort at LB second half. As previous, he's no flying full back. Camps and Williams did both look knackered at the end. Jamie Allen had a decent game for me, he is the playmaker in midfield. Brown good once more, think we are good at RB this season. Calv, Keane, their usual selves. Inman grew into the game for me, needs game time which he is getting.
