I doubt we could/would not exceed what Celtic are paying him. I think Huw probably wanted him, but found it too hard to ditch Guido after what he achieved last season.

If that is the case then Huw should walk. From what I remember of Guidolin's time here last season, we looked awful for most of the matches. Certainly not enough to warrant the job over some of the better managers that would have been available in the Summer.

And me. Giving Guidolin the job was this season's first mistake. Expecting him to do the job with a woefully inadequate playing squad was the second.

We might not have looked great, but we got a lot of points under Guido last season. Huw and the Yanks were just waiting for a chance to get rid, in my opinion.

Absolutely, but who did we appoint bullshit Bobbly. If we'd have kept that clown we'd be looking at certain relegation in March let alone a chance of staying up at the moment!

Yes, but paying off Guidolin, Brendan's hefty wage AND the 30-40 million he would have demanded for transfers would have affected the sellouts windfalls quite dramatically. And let's not forget, that's all they ever cared about in the end. I'm surprised anyone on here supports either Celtic or Rangers. Two championship clubs in all reality nowadays

Did he demand 30-40 million the last time he was here?

I think swansea fans have delusion of their own granduer and have bought into this idea that world football begins and ends with the PL. How long ago was it swansea were in the fourth tier, swans would never be able to sell out parkhead or ibrox if they paid people to go!
