Birmingham City Roll call on 12:32 - Feb 17 by paulparker
was that the home game when we beat them 3-1 ? they had seamen in goal for them and I think ian dawes scored a screamer im pretty sure the Waddock injury was home to Sheff Wed
Gaery Waddock had two bad injuries, with the first being away to Brum.
They really did have a team of potential leg breakers in the '60' & '70's, with Hockey & Hopkins (?) to the fore.
It is a ground I've never been to, but neaerly ended up there in May 1968. Asked in a fish & chip shop for directions to Villa & they weere sending us to St Andrews!
Good luck to all of you that are travelling today.

My first out of towner this season. (Brighton South London by the Sea doesn't count). Last at St.Andrews New Year's Day 1980. The coldest I've ever been. Lost 2-1. The first day of that shit decade defined the decade. I remember a Brum crew with a dude in a homburg Ranking Rogeresque hat blatantly skanking around the fringes of the away end. Love The Beat by the way.
Got a feeling we'll score 4 tomorrow.
Two great calls there mate. The 4 goals prediction and the loving of The Beat.
This is the most relevant track I could find as Zola is probably thinking that "They're All Out To Get Him" (justifiably so) and that Birmingham, as a club, are "Drowning".
Great choice for your first out of towner. Hope you had a good'un.
It was good in the early 80's great bands from Brum The Beat and early UB40 and also of course Coventry away to pay homage to the Specials and the 2Tone movement. Few Blank expressions around New Street yesterday.
