Everything about the sale of these tickets, and the conditions thereon, have been very well communicated and advertised.

Talking about the Half Season Tickets in the pub and one guy spent an age looking at me before asking "why the fook would anyone just go to half of a game?"

Spose if you picked the first half you'd never see us lose.
You'd never see us win, though either.
Glass half full/empty - I bought one for just the second half anyway

Except ............. wouldn't be a Dale fan if I didn't have a moan ............ they tried to charge me an admin fee today. I said it had been waived. Was told that only applies to tickets bought on Friday. Contested this and said tickets bought up til Friday and finally it was waived. Took being put on hold twice whilst checks were made though. So I'll concede it seems to have been communicated well externally!

Yes, it's been well communicated to the potential punters. I cannot speak for how they communicate this internally, however.

I miss those days of ringing up the club and asking "What time is kick off?" to get the reply of "what time can you get here?"

Poll: What is it to be then?

Your premise is right, but is there any need to be so personal and aggressive about it?

SteT made the point perfectly well enough.

Some people are constantly negative on here about anything and everything the club does. I can't stand it. Apologies if you find that aggressive or inappropriate but people need to get on board with what the club are trying to do instead of constantly picking holes.

There are bound to be a broad spectrum of opinions and ideas from a diverse fanbase on a forum like this.
Constructive criticism can also be a very healthy tool to power improvement of what the club offers and what the paying fans experience.
Recently, catering has had an upgrade (?), half ST offered and flexibility selling it, ground (especially bogs) due a facelift and all manner of family ideas to try to lower the average age of Dale fans by several decades. Not necessarily all resulted from criticism, but certainly adverse feedback has contributed to fuelling these improvements.
If some posters get on yet tits, "ignore" them.

I guess there's various ways of lowering the average age of Dale fans

In no particular order:

1) Experimental gene therapy

2) Culling anyone over the age of... 60?

3) Time travel

4) Reducing/completely abolishing the costs of entry for under 11s, etc

At least we've made a start

For the club yes, but there's plenty of fans who feel like watching Dale for the first 3 or 4 decades of their life was a punishment beating, so maybe it's the club's turn?

I'll be ready for culling shortly!

And I've no doubt there'll be plenty of volunteers

I completely agree and most people on here are on board with everything the club is doing, despite what some posters might think.

However, it still doesn't mean those who aren't should be challenged in such a manner, yet again.

There's a really good focus on here from the majority to look to improve their club, with most criticism being extremely constructive with viable ideas and solutions to problems. Have never understood the thinking behind having a moan and not actually offering anything constructive, but that's the way of the world and exists in work places/pubs/homes everywhere.

The support the club has received for its shift in emphasis on recent times has been very evident too, people can see the change and have been full of praise.

I take on board what you say. Sometimes I need to digest what I read before replying in the heat of the moment.

I don't feel stupid. The person concerned works until five and does not live in town. Lots of people work "office hours" I am suggesting the club stays open an extra hour so people could get there after they finish work. What's so stupid about that?

The worm of time turns not for the cuckoo of circumstance.

While you've got some salient points, it's always a risk turning up after the advertised opening hours.

Couldn't this person just ring and order a ticket to be picked up next Saturday? I know they would probably rather have the ticket in their hand now, but there are ways around this.
