So, a week or so after the Trust approach the club regarding former Directors still hanging around the club (my words, not theirs) , the club go and re-appoint one of them as a Director.
It feels to me like the Yanks are taking the p*ss

Incredible how every time the club makes a statement about how they want to work with the trust or the trust makes a statement about how talks with the new ownership has been "positive" the board goes and immediately does something completely dirty and underhanded behind the trust's back.

Wtf is going on and why hasn't there been any sort of communication?
Is our commercial section lost without him? Is our CEO or whatever he is so clueless about things over here that he needs Dineen and the price is a seat on the board?
Why has it taken a week to come out?
This club is beyond a fecking joke. Mates from other parts of the country were taking the piss, now they are feeling sorry for me and other supporters. They see us as the latest Blackpool/Blackburn.

Or A P.R. exercise to show that there is still a link to the past. (There are still many who don’t know the details)
Putting that aside could it be some sort of legal requirement
Is there a number of board members required for a quorum to agree certain decisions? The two ex board members have already given their voting rights away, could this just be legality? | | | |

It might be as simple an explanation that he needs the director level access to perform his job function, such that he does, and they are getting ready to freeze out non directors. | |

They are saying we're in charge and there's nothing the Trust can do or say that'll change what we do, they just keep poking with that pointy stick, its clear they couldn't give a fuk about the Trust, Fans or the Team on the field they've worked it all out, they can still make enough dosh whether we go down or stay up.
In the mean time they're just saying things to appease us with no substance behind what they say.
Basically we're fuked, what could happen next year if we do own the training facility at Landore is that they'll say that they have to sell that to keep the club going, you can just see whats round the corner. |  |
