During the match, the cameras pick out the good bits. He looked a class act. But I was trying to watch him off the ball. Same old lazy lump. Take £2 million and draw a line under it.
I watched him as well. He seemed to be ahead of play and then magically behind it seconds later. I don't think he will fit into any hard-working new regime although I do think he is a nice footballer. He is just a bit lazy.
He reminds me a bit of Mbia, when he played for Sevilla FC, where he was given a free midfield role. Fer seems to be playing the same role for Swansea, so lets see if Guidolin rates him enough to buy him.
I seem to remember the co commentator passing a comment about Fer's stats "probably looking horrific" (not sure he used horrific) as Fer passed the ball in to the crowd towards the end of the game.
Fer is an outstanding player that can fulfil a number of role within any team. Midfield? Attack? Wing? He's got the lot. We were lucky to see him play here at QPR. A full Dutch International with experience in the world's best league? You bet! Whoever is lucky enough to get his signature won't regret it. I, for one, feel hollow that we may never see his like again at Loftus Road. If he'd stayed, we'd be a Premier League outfit by now.
Yep, that ought to do it.
'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'
