Rose back, Bennett back.
Can only presume a virus mentioned in the Observer is the cause of the 3 omission's.

Camps and Allen were certainly fit to play, just not selected.

Baffling then. I really hope Hill wasn't making some sort of protest against the state of the pitch by leaving out our most creative 2 midfielders. It certainly looked like the instructions were to bypass midfield last night and just launch the ball forward as much as possible.

Absolutely. I was going to Bradford on Saturday, not now - I can't justify spending the best part of £80 watching that.

Lose on Saturday, and the crowd next Tuesday could be low, very low!

1500 would be my guess. A similar level to Accrington Stanley.

That was the figure I was thinking.

Allen and Camps should be 2 of the first names on Hill's team sheet.

NML was knackered after 25 mins last night, Donal is the same when he plays - what happened to us priming ourselves on being the fittest in the league, we are now the opposite. Canavan also looked like he was carrying a bit of timber when warming up at half time.

I'm not a Bunney fan, but thought he was MOM last night and justified his inclusion in the side. Henderson ran his socks off, but had very little to feed on.

Defensively we are a shambles, Hill's stubbornness is costing us points, and more importantly putting/keeping bums on seats. A massive squad reshaping is required in the summer, time to be ruthless Keith and get rid of all the deadwood.

I think a lot will vote with their feet, before the summer - and not come back!

Just interested to know how you are sure that's the case. Enlighten us.

This is the first squad which I remember for a decent length of time to have no homegrown players (Bunney's not really homegrown). None of the enthusiasm of our youth, which could've made the difference.

I'm sure he mentioned the younger players needing a "rest" with regard to their longer term prospects in the team, not sure if that was the reason last night.
I'd make sure we're still in league 1 ideally before resting such over worked players though

Do you know upthedale89?

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

No. I don't have an agenda, nor do I want to get people into trouble. I stated they weren't injured, which I know as fact.

Apparently they where both up in the main stand lounge before the game and neither where injured. I didn't ask them personally, the information was cascaded to me by somebody who had just come from that location. Hilly didn't mention that they had injuries in his post match interview.

I guess the plan was to bypass midfield then - so they weren't needed. The worry is the pitch isn't going to get any better tho season now .
