What are our transfer window chances of landing a Gorkss/Khumalo again for the run-in to May? Do we want Jamie Jones to stay (yes, I guess - his stats must look worse than he ever expected but with some decent back 4 cover, he'll bloom again)..? We also need Callum, George and Garvan to go nowhere until the end of the season. And if Gavin Massey can shake himself out of his bland form, we're back on a roll. Up the U's!

You can't concede as many goals as we have, despite the woeful defence, without taking a long cold hard look at the 'keeper, but he has shown promise, and perhaps with a rejuvenated and reinvigorated back four, he maybe deserves his chance to show us that he should hold on to his place - but it's not a decision we can postpone for too long if there are doubts. Most importantly though, we must give the new management team time to fix things, and if that means relegation then so be it. Personally, I firmly believe there's enough quality and ability about this squad to save us from League 2, and if KK and DW can pull that off, we build with hope for next season.

Jones has been guilty of the occasional howler but which 'keeper hasn't done that? Even if Walker had been in goal all season he would have been hardvpressed to do any better. Defensive help required as a matter of urgency. Eastman is a decent player with a leader alongside. Briggs couldn't defend if his life depended on it so a left back would be very welcome as well. KK to weave some magic this week and ensure we don't lose to the Winkles from Scummend.
