Where the f*ck have you been?

Waiting.

Not really - I just haven't had much to say and just started avoiding watching games as I didn't like what I saw. Always wished Garry the best after my initial gripes, but couldn't be bothered arguing the toss beyond that. So was just seeing how we went.

Same for here really - looked now again, but found it as unreadable as we were unwatchable - I see a few are having an enough is enough day today! Good to see some genuine passion for what's been lost rather than bickering about complete nonsense by no marks

Hopefully some better conversations will ensue and we will remember who we are!

Joe_bradshaw -I thought the cryochamber was the new name for Cardiff's stadium.

Good to see you back either way.

Very briefly met JackSomething last night too. There's another poster the board could do with.

No need for apologies. I have very broad shoulders and a complete disregard for the opinions of others.

I thought Rodgers was a better manager than Martinez and that opinion hasn't changed. Martinez got through a tough spell at Everton, even relegated Wigwam and now seems in the up and up at Everton. You don't get that kind of patience at Liverpool.

My only reservation would be that he couldn't pick up a struggling Eeading when faced with a similar situation before, but his familiarity with the club, might mitigate that.

6 month contract. All hands to the pump. Lift the players. Return to possession football. Bring Joey home.

Sorry disagree Martinez will become a top manager, Rodgers is excellent but he isn't up there as he found to his cost at Liverpool. Mark my words Martinez will manage at the top.

This small budget thing is the classic modern day urban myth.

He kept a club with a top 8 budget in the top 8. The way people eulogise about this fella you'd swear he was some sort of managerial messiah. They sh*t their pants in every big game they played in and he makes Garry's approach look like free flowing football.

Besides, we don't have the players to fit his playing style*

This 100%.... Moyes would be a disaster.
We don't have the squad to adapt to his style of play... Sorry but we'd be as fooked as we are now!!!

We need a short term replacement to keep us up and then decide on the choice of a longer term manager. I've loved the whole Premiership experience and don't want to lose it. Anyone who doesn't think we are in free fall is deluded.

At the moment I'm torn between Moyes and Rodgers.
Forget Moyes misadventures at Manure and Real Sociedad, as well as Rodgers fall from grace at Liverpool.
Both are highly experienced managers at Premier League level and can get us out of the danger zone quickly.
Both also have good contacts within the game and can do some necessary dealing to bring in the players we need to stop the rot, as well as motivating the current squad.
It would also be a fresh start and chance for all those players who have found themselves excluded.
When the new manager is appointed (which I hope is Monday ) I hope and trust they will bring in some good coaches, get Curt back working with the players and get Garry working with him to gain some real experience.
Monk is a good guy and it's not his fault he lacks the knowledge and experience to get us out of this dilemma. Many of the squad have let him down lately.
Anyway roll on Monday and a new manager - please Huw

I think ignoring Curt must be Garry's biggest mistake. Was it because he was close to Laudrup that he got jettisoned??

I doubt Curt has got much to do with anything.

Total legend, but not much more than a mascot in recent years.

Brendan would have had a severance package from Liverpool. Does anyone think that part of that might be an agreement that he doesn't go and manage a rival PL team?

I would have thought that would have been Constraint of Trade under the EUROPEAN employment laws
