Swans Trust Board Elections 2015 07:24 - Jul 2 with 8727 viewsSwansTrust

The Swansea City Supporters’ Trust holds annual elections for Swans Trust Members to have the chance to be elected to the Trust Board. Full Board members usually serve for a two year term and are eligible to stand for re-election.

There are six vacancies to be filled for the 2015 election year, as six current Board Members are required to stand down having completed their two years on the Board. They are eligible to stand for re-election.

If you would like to put yourself forward to be elected as a Trust Board member then more details can be found via the following link:

I hope anyone thinking of standing for this is going to be doing it for the right reasons and not for personal gain.

As a matter of interest, what personal benefits are there for being on the Trust board?

You will find that at times like this the loud mouths are busy hiding under rocks with other invertebrates, as they are too busy/shy/have personal issues.

NOT AGAIN.

I ve nothing but admiration for people who put themselves forward for any voluntary work or stuff to help an organisation.

Im staggered to see people of this ilk besmirched .

This is a residue of a poster, now banned, who frankly could have caused serious problems with a warped personal crusade. FFS lets encourage people to use their time to progress our club

Not enough outrage in this thread yet.

Not sure to be honest - we don't need to say beforehand just meet the same deadlines as everyone else

I wrote my 100 words earlier today so that's my intention done, if I get in then brilliant it gets the same commitment to the job its had for 10 years

Seen many board members come and go in that 10 years for a variety of reasons but ask anyone who has been on the board its not an easy task and one that needs commitment to the cause and being prepared to give up plenty of time to do the work

Ian - I forgot those perks ;-)
