Hard to get a place serving real home made meat pies, most serve those awful flaky pastry things from the "ding" machine.
I'm very much like you, if the steak and kidney pie is nice, then probably the rest of the food is good as well.
Can't honestly say I 've found a good one locally though. |  |

I had my first stab at home made oven chips this week, used diseree potatoes. Part blanched and then stuck them in the oven drizzled with ground nut oil. Apparently they were lovely with some rib-eye steaks from Costco. I do cook a good steak, house stunk afterwards though, we had scented candles and oil burners in 3 rooms and on the stairs. | |

Already sorted, we'll run out of anything that has to be made fresh and there's an extra fire extinguisher just in case.
Got to be careful, I broke wind last week just before this bloke stuck his head by the kiosk window to ask for a coffee. It was impossible to not smell anything. Then I said "you can't beat the smell of fresh coffee". He didn't reply. Missus was not shall we say very happy. Well she shouldn't give me peppers and red wine. | |
