Did anyone watch the Broncos last night? I didn't see it myself, but on the face of it looks like another impressive win over one of the better teams in the AFC. Lots of speculation on the NFL 's official website that they are the ones to beat - having watch them overwhelm the 49ers the other night, I'm inclined to agree.

Icon? It's all Rio Ferdinand's fault.

Brilliant win for the Patriots today - it's all hotting up in the AFC East as the top three are all going to win this week.

My Dolphins won at Jacksonville,

Watch out for Dallas this season Baz, its the best I've seen Romo play in some time.

No man is rich enough to buy back his past.

Watched some of the game on C4 this afternoon, I just about follow the rules but no more! Thought it was exciting though and would definitely watch again. The state of the pitch was terrible though.

Egg-chasing on steroids, dressed in armour, choreographed like a bleeding line-dance.
God-awful.

Yep, I understand it fully. I have tried very hard to watch it, going back to the 80's when it first arrived on Ch4. I gave up, eventually. The bit I cannot get, is the umpires throwing the yellow flag on a play, and then we have to watch umpteen replays while the TV commentators work out what the infringement was. It is too stop and start for me. Also, it's not simple, which is the beauty of association football.

However, I think that factor also spoils rugby football in this country. The players get pulled up for an infringement and often they don't know what it was for. The rules are too complicated. And I used to play rugby to a high standard, but fell out of love with it.

I saw extended highlights of them last week s13, agree that they look very powerful.

Big win for Seattle today, they really pulled that out of the fire.

No, to be fair, it isn't blank. It has highlights of your last FA Cup win and a piece about post-war rationing.

He's well acquainted with haddock-he spent his childhood eating it as a staple diet although occasionally had mackerel for Sunday dinner as a treat
