Spoke to Davies who was sat in our end today. He's close to fitness and could maybe have made the bench, but Riga prefers him to get fully fit rather than rush back.

Blimey, only 4 subs yesterday. If these two had been fit Jose would of wanted them on the bench. I know this sounds stupid, but Jose should of had these 2 on the bench anyway, even if not fit, to keep the press off our backs. The press are putting too much pressure on the situation. Unlike pre-season, when they is an element of amusement to the situation that Karl has generated. It is no joke now, including the Forest game we have 4 games in 11 days and the pressure is on.
Maybe something wrong with McKenzie and Davies registration too?

Wizz - was McKenzie anywhere to be seen? For me, this is the problem - the club has no transparency at the moment and so all these rumours and this wild speculation starts and that's when things deteriorate.
Why not come out before the game (even those who run the website and Twitter accounts) and say what Wizz has just said - stops a lot of tongues wagging and puts a stop to these rumours. | |

Someone mentioned last week that McKenzie was doing some light training with Phil Horner so perhaps he does have an injury. I still think he wants away, but no other club will sign him if he has an injury and if he wants away that is why he wasn't even in the stands. Of course if the rumour is true of him night-clubbing on Friday then it is not going to help his recovery! | | | |

I'm a member of the gym that's in the BFC hotel. The players were in there this morning with Noel Blake, and McKenzie was with them doing his own training routine. There's nothing suspicious going on, just an injured player trying to get back to match fitness. | | | |
