Good going forward, manure centre backs showing why they did carp last season.

Rooney's trying too hard to impress. Back-heel (rubbish), scooped forward pass (offside), shot / cross with outside of wrong foot (pointless). He knows the game is up for him.

Shaw looks out of his depth, fat frank too slow.

Oxlade chamberlain stand-out for me

en-ger-land match thread. on 20:30 - Jun 4 with 4310 viewsStantheman

I don't know, he looks rusty forsure along with chamberlain but lively enough so far. Would be a goal up if passing had been better.
And we score, blatant handball imo.

Handball by Lambert. He's been playing well, mind.

Jack Wilshere has got very short legs, hasn't he.

we are fecked if cahill of jageilka get injured
we are better off with clint & ned at the back
if smalling played for palace he would be knowhere near the squad let alone starting,
a sh*t player

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

Wilshere is not match fit - way off the pace. Lampard doesn't even know what the pace is any more. Rooney off it too. Lambert just not good enough. Barkley and Ox are OK. Milner better than Johnson at RB - Johnson was embarrassing the other night.

Milner never a full back and it's showing, centre halfs getting caught out of position. terrible.

Not on todays performance, looks like he doesn't have a clue.
Gave his guy way too much space for the cross for their goal. Got caught in possession a couple of times too, although looks decent going forwards (I guess you'd expect that)

Did you see Johnson against Peru? He''s a disaster waiting to happen and he looks as if he's fed up of waiting.

Smalling and Jones lol. poor Michael Dawson...

not sure what Lampard will do for us. Barkley has shown he's quite capable of smashing shots over the bar from stupid ranges and Gerrard can already sit in front of the defence while not running a lot.

How is Luke Shaw worth twenty trillion billion dollars?!?

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.

Lambert just went up in my estimations, what a shot.

Yeah that was better from Lambert. Anyone remember Gazza in the buildup to 1990? Barkley reminds me of him

I dont remember the build up but hes certainly in the vein as a player, one for the future as they say.

Good game this.

I like this team . Back is a bit all over the place but AOC and Barkley are terrifying their back line. Lambert starting to look like Shearer.

I mean this team won't win anything but fun to watch at least.

Never knowingly right.
